CULTURAL QA 07-2023-13A BY Mr G AND EDITED BY KR IRS WHEREVER FOUND ERROR

Q1 Which temple is more beautiful than Taj Mahal in beauty?

KR Unintelligent question comparing a samadhi of a Muslim with
Hindu temple. Also, both are incomparable except people write the Delhi
Akshardham (devine place) as the largest temple of the world and say 8th
wonder. So, from wonder form of view Taj and Akshar may be spoken or else
it is a stupid question. Akshardham is the richest trust building such
spectacular temples, using the Pink Marbles of Rajasthan all over the word.
Bochasanvasi Akshar Purshottam Sanstha (baps) is the trust. Till date that
trust had built 11 temples in India and 1100 temples all over the world,
including India. Almost majority of the temples will be miraculous to see
as a 7-star hotel. And it is private and so right of admissions are
reserved. And Delhi temple was started in 2000 and finished in 2005; in USA
a new one is still being constructed. So far, I had seen in India and
abroad about 7 temples. No photography inside the garba graham but no
restriction to shoot outside.

Q2 What are the six - Things everyone should remember in their
life?

   - KR The answer given has no meaning at all and purely a
personal opinion. It does not bother me. The real quality of a Brahmin are
six virtues; and that Brahminic qualities is universal and had to adopted
if one thrives to be smart(smartha).
   - Brahminical qualities
   - Peacefulness, self-control, austerity, purity, tolerance, honesty,
must be possessed, along with the wisdom, knowledge, and
religiousness-these are the qualities by which the brahmanas work. These
are the six occupational duties of brāhmaṇa: paṭhana-pāṭhana (2)
   yajana-yājana (2) dāna-pratigraha.(2) A brāhmaṇa must be very learned
scholar, studying. All Vedic knowledge is meant for the brāhmaṇas. Satyam,
tapasya, satyam, śaucam, tapas, ārjavam, titikṣā, jñānam, vijñānam,
   āstikyam, brahma-karma svabhāva-jam (BG 18.42).
   - A brahmana does not become a brahmana simply because he is a living
entity or is born in a brahmana family; he must possess all the qualities
mentioned in the sastras and practice the brahminical principles in his life
   - A brahmana is not created by birth, but by education, practice and
knowledge. It is not a question of birth, but quality, as pointed out by
   Krsna in Bhagavad-gita - BG 4.13

Q5 Why did Hanuman's father Vayu beg for Karna's mercy when Karna
was beating up his son Hanuman in public?

KR WHAT I WANTED TO SAY, Akash Tripathi, SAID “If the person
asking question is for this reason than it's ok but if he's trying a single
moment to humiliate bhagwaan hanumaan he is being the worst of humankind
because bhagwaan hanumaan is Rudravatar plus the one true God of kaliyug
present on earth.” Never write some unauthenticated matter sir.

Q6 Temple of Goddess Lakshmi where the idol changes color thrice
a day, where is it and what are the details?

KR Colour changing GODs are in TN Rahu sthala at Kumbakonam and

There is a temple in Tamil Nadu near Nagarcoil,Kanya Kumari District,
where the idol of Lord Ganesha changes colors. This temple is about 15 Km
from Nagarcoil. Lord Vinayakar’s idol changes its color to black and
white once in every six months. During Utharayan (March-June), the idol is
black, and in Dakshiyana (July-Feb) idol turns to white. This temple came
to be known as ‘’Miracle Ganesh Temple. There is a well inside the temple
complex and the color of the water too changes every six months. When the
idol is white, the water changes to black and vice versa! The Temple is
also dedicated to Lord Shiva.

Temple Legend.

The king, who ruled Keralapuram, went for a pilgrimage to Rameshwaram, a
famous shivite temple facing Bay of Bengal. A Ganesh idol is washed over
while the king and his men were washing their legs at the Rameshwaram
beach. The king then gifts it to his Rameshwaram counterpart ‘’Sethu
Mannan’’. Sethu Mannan was overwhelmed by the love and affection, however
he returns the gift back to the Keralapuram King. It was his opinion and
belief that the finder should have it and it was the right thing to do.
Along with the idol, the Rameshwaram King gifts another Huge Emerald Idol.
However, the Mogul later looted the emerald idol during their invasion.
They could not take the idol with them, it was stuck to the ground.
