CULTURAL QA 07-2023-19 By G and edited by KR IRS where felt necessary, not in entirety
Q1 Is it good to eat sugar after taking medicine? KR Anupana is considered as a liquid medium by vagbhata, charaka, Sushruta and sarngadhara Prakshepa is the powder form of either single or combined drugs in Kerala. Anupana is considered as Prakshepa by the name ‘ mempodi’. Prakshepa is similar in action of Anupana still there is a controversy between Prakshepa and Anupana. Anupana is very essential part in ahara as well as oushada. Care should be taken in selecting Anupana suitable for ourselves for getting all the beneficiaries from intake. Also, it is a concept that is gifted to us from Ayurveda. NB: Mempodi is not sugar; in that case vellam or Jaggery, Honey and all are sugar; However, if the question is eating sugar after food, then Mempodi eating is not an answer. Even Sushruta ayurveda book with me says that Mempodi @ Prakshepa, also must be taken cautiously. So a healthy one can eat anything. Others must know better about their health. Q3 What are some hacks that everyone should know? About 90% of heart attack occur early in the morning and it can be reduced if one takes a glass or two of water before going to bed at night. We know water is important but never knew about the special times one has to drink it. My note- I have not checked it’s authority with a doctor. Mr Rajaram might have done earlier or now check with a doctor and make his EDITING the answer. KR 1 When unknown, stay off and don’t waste others’ time Mr G. 2 “The dogma – in fact, this is everywhere, in all the textbooks about sudden cardiac arrest – [is that] the most common time period for people to have a sudden cardiac arrest is early in the morning,” said Dr. Sumeet Chugh <http://bio.csmc.edu/view/3497/Sumeet-S-Chugh.aspx>, one of the authors of the study published in the journal Heart Rhythm <https://www.heartrhythmjournal.com/article/S1547-5271(18)30905-6/fulltext>. Chugh, Price Professor and associate director of the Heart Institute and director of the Heart Rhythm Center at Cedars-Sinai, and his co-authors used the Oregon Sudden Unexpected Death Study to look at 2,631 cases of sudden cardiac arrest. Of those incidences, the most commonly reported time was the afternoon, when 31.6% of cases happened. Only 13.9% happened in the early morning, 27.6% in the morning and 26.9% in the evening. {CNN health} G Put a sticker with a fake pin on your debit card. If someone tries to use it 3+ times, THE ATM will eat the card. KR Maybe we can place the cards in anti-hacking purses and holders available in Amazon and other shops. But never overdo it on the back side of the card which will erase the functionality when you want to use. G To remove chewing gum from clothes, keep the cloth in the freezer for one hour. KR No sir not necessary G Need to test a printer? A print the google homepage, it has all the colors and uses almost no ink. KR Again test page is embedded in all printers so no need to print any external materials. .G To get pure & clean ice boil water first before placing in the freezer. KR Not necessary; water if it is pure enough; and there are modern fridges with water connection and auto ice making. https://youtu.be/INSpHbZRjhE G You can clear a room full of cigarette smoke in about a minute simply by spinning a wet towel around. KR The room flavour may not change by these tricks G When you go to a zoo wear the same colors as the employees do. The animals will come right up to you. KR Easwara. G To make the mirror shine clean with sprite. KR Sprite marketing sir? Spray is available; and Vibhūti at home will do it if done regularly. Q4 Can I port my landline number from BSNL to Airtel? G A4 Krishna Kumar,·Telecom Engineer at Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) (2007–present) Upvoted by Udaan S D E,, Telecommunication Engineer at Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited 5years You can't port any landline from one operator to any another operator in India as of 2018. But BSNL has introduced a new plan called Aseem in landline, that will work for you. In Aseem plan, you will get a virtual landline number of your area . All the incoming calls to that virtual landline number will be call diverted to any mobile or landline number working in India. There won’t be any call diversion charges for these diverting calls . The mind blowing fact is ,this plan will cost you only Rs.99 per year. The only down side is , there won’t be any outgoing call facility from this plan, since it's a virtual phone. My note- There is no more Updation KR I felt AGM BSNL could have checked facts. I don’t understand whether he says portable or not. Anyway, he is porting only earlier dated answers and also chid people, in equal comparison, I ignore him. I diD port my cell number in 2022 to airtel and also back to BSNL within 3 months as I was promised by Airtel, he can get me the closed-circuit parallel connection. But it was a dupe. Parallel connection cannot be made other than open wires for each room. So I did 2 porting where the ported message comes by SMS. I retained the same number but operators were different.
