Q1         What are the stories of Lord Krishnathat give you goose bumps?

A1          Shubhendra Singh, Lives in India(2002–present) Updated Aug 10

Let me narrate you a story. There liveda great king named Jaimal, whoruled over
Merta (Rajasthan). He was cousin brother of Meerabai. Just like Meerabai,
Jaimaltoo was a great Krishna devotee.

He never liked any disturbance duringthe time of his Krishna Pooja howsoever
important may that be.

Duringthe reign of Jaimal, King Maldeo of Marwar decided to attack and capture
Merta. He was a very powerful ruler.

So Maldeo marched with his army to captureMerta. At thattime Jaimal was busy in
his room worshipping Lord Krishna with completedevotion and had told everyone
not to disturb him.

Now,the commanders of Merta Army got the information about Maldeo's attack and
thuswere in a state of panic. They couldn't decide anything without their king.

Sothe commander in chief of Merta approached Jaimal but was stopped by
hisgatekeepers who told him not to disturb Jaimal. So he approached Jaimal's
mother andrequested her to inform Jaimal that Merta is soon about to face a
battle.Maldeo is coming.

So Jaimal's mother went to Jaimal andtold him everything. Jaimal, through hand
gestures signalled his mother to tell his commander in chief to gofight in war
and that Jaimalhimself will soon follow after completing his Pooja.

Onorders of his mother, the commander in chief of Merta Army went with his
forcesto battlefield and made Maldeo retreat.

Now comes the interesting part.

WhenJaimal came out of his room and started preparing for battle, he heard
cries ofHar Har Mahadev and other victory cries and celebration sounds from
outside.

Hewent outside to see what happened. There he saw his commander in chief and
armyshouting victory slogans and dancing. So he called him and asked ,
“kyahua"? (What happened?)

HisCommander replied, “What? We won sir. You won us the battle. Glories to you!”

Jaimalasked in surprise, “what?” I won you the battle?”

HisCommander replied, “ Yes ofcourse why so shocked sir? “

Jaimalagain said, “but I was in my room worshipping Lord Krishna!”

HisCommander said, “what are you talking about Maharaj? You arrived after a few
minutes and werefighting on the front and were instructing our Army on how to
fight Weourselves saw you fighting on your black horse and you manhandled
theirsoldiers. What a fierce display of bravery. You absolutely wrecked havocon
enemies and won us the battle in such a short time!”(Pakad pakad ke dhoyaaapne
Maharaj)

Jaimal was completely surprised andafter pondering over for some time, hewent
to his room.

There he saw that the idol ofLord Krishna which he used to worship had water
dripping from it as if soakedin sweat. Itdidn't take too long for Jaimal to
realise what happened.

Furtherhe noticed that oneKundal from ears of idol was missing. So Jaimal
himself went to the battlefieldand he found the missing kundal lying there and
that place itself is calledKundal in Merta.

Beforethis incident there hadn't been any instance where Maldeo went to capture
aplace and couldn't win. This battle with Merta was the only one where
Maldeowent to capture some other territory and had to retreat. Apart from
this, wherever he was on the offence, he won that battle.Bhaktavatsal Krishna
himself had come to fight in thebattle for his devotee.

Q3         Why are planes' engines slightly tilteddown?

A3         Rebecca Williams,Experience inAviation18h

The main reason for tilting the enginesdown is to align them with the local
airflow at cruise conditions. As you may know, planes fly with a slightnose-up
attitude at cruise, which means that the air coming off the wing has a downward
angle, calledthe downwash angle. If the engines were parallel to the ground,
they would facean uneven force on the fan blades, which would reduce
theirefficiency and performance. By tilting them down by a few degrees, they
canmeet the airstream at the same angle and avoid this problem.

Another reason for tilting the enginesdown is to reduce the pitching moment
caused by thrust. When the engines produce thrust, they alsocreate a force that
tends to pitch the nose up or down, depending on theirlocation relative to the
center of gravity. If the engines are above or belowthe center of gravity, they
will create a pitching moment that needs to bebalanced by the tail or the wing.
By tilting them down, they can reduce thismoment and make the plane more stable
and easier to control.

Tilting the engines down also hassome drawbacks, such as increasing drag and
noise. That’s why engineers have to find theoptimal angle that balances all
these factors and suits the specific design andperformance of each plane.

Onions.

A couple of days back, I had been to afancy restaurant near my place to eat
biryani. As I received the order, Inoticed that the biryani was served without
Raitha(A typical side dish that comes along withbiryani). I immediately called
the steward and inquired about the reason. He clarified to me statingthat the
onion catering was stopped due to an unprecedented surge in the price. I
ponderedabout it and realised that it was okay as the biryani price equals 1kg
onionprice.

Thesame day, in the evening, Iwent to a small shop which hardly had any
infrastructure. Knowing thatthe tiny shop is famous for its fast foods like
samosa, chat etc, I ordered one hot chaat. To my utter surprise, the chaat was
fullygarnished with onions.I stood puzzled as this was not expected of a person
who runs a smallbusiness. Being reminded about afternoon's incident, I
curiously turned towardsthe shopkeeper.

Me: Anna, why are you still cateringonions despite the surge in the price?

Owner:"Onions illama andha taste varaadhu thambi." (Chaat will not taste its
best without onionsand my customers love when the chaat is served with onions)

Iwas completely taken aback by his esteem towards his customers. It was
obviousthat customer experience is a matter of great importance to him. He did
not want to disappoint thecustomer even in the slightest matter. This laudable
gesture of his amazed meand earned my respect.

Whilethe Biryani Bhai was busy in contemplating about the onion pricing, the
smallshop owner provided his customers with a great sense of satisfaction.

Almostforgot to share the price of the items. Biryani costed me 180 rupees
whereasthe chaat did only 15.

Edit:Today, I have visited the same shop and informed him that thousands of
Quoranshave admired his gesture.

Clueless about what Quora is, he simplysaid “Nandri sir”(Thank you). Out
ofcuriosity, he inquired if I have mentioned his shop name in the answer
whichwill help drive more customers to his shop. I told him that I missed it
out andassured that I would add the address details. So, Chennai people who live
aroundVelachery can grab hot chaatand many fast foods at Deepi Peechu snacks
shop in the evenings.

Address:

Q5         Why did Lord Krishna break his flute, and how did Radha die?

A5         Arun Reddy,5h

Well, after lot of comments from others I couldn’t stop answering this question
as most of the comments say thatDevi Radha as human / Gopika.

Sohere’s how story goes, read carefully and sorry as I am not so perfect
inEnglish.

Devi Radha as born almost 2–5 yearsafter Lord Krishna as born and shedidn’t
opened her eyes. (Before coming to earth both of them as decided to
playaccording - It’s another part which is huge enough to explain it here). She
opened her eyes whenkrishna’s family come and visit Radha’s family as they both
livenearby villages. (and devi Radha’s family is rich compared to lord Krishna).

Youneed to understand that “without Radha there’s no Krishna - it’s
truthblindfoldedly you can find evidenses in vridavan - again i can’t
explainentirely here only if humans who has done sadhana can experience what i
amsaying.”

Sofast forward - Lord krishna body as two soules ( Which find stupid
butaccording to other puranas from Bhagavatan to Vasudeva puran - Vishnu
-Narayana Purana’s) - when you combined them and extract info you can find
that- Krishna muni ( I think his name starts with krishna) - he’s the
physicalentity born and later with Devaki - vasudeva ( they have lord narayana)
- withthe other wife (she as lord krishna). So from akashavani message vasudeva
went to meet theother kid and by the guidence he places both kids side by side
- both lookssame and later merges into one. (BECAUSE LORD KRISHNA PURPOSE
ISDIFFERENT - THAT’S WHY HE REQUESTS LORD NARAYANA TO DO ALL MASACCERS, SO
THATHE CAN FOCUS ENTIRELY ON LEELA BY DEVI RADHA).

Soagain fast forward - There will be love around in air and after killing kamsa
- Lord krishna soul comes outand devi Radha soul wiil also comesout and both
will marry under the tree(which is still present in vrindavan - under the
guidanceof lord brahma both will marry in spiritual way - as villages wont
agreebecause both are of different status). Remember I told how devi Radha’s
family isricher than lord Krishna’s.

Afterthat due to time, and other curses which devi radha as she needs to
experiencethem so she went to mountains and do sadhana and leave her bodythere
( We still have cave and lord Dattatray visited it in Himalayas).and lord
krishna should go back to his duties as he needs to do once he acceptsagreement
so he has lived for certain time on earth and he left the earth alongwith devi
radha ( NOTE: LORD KRISHNA IS THE ONLY ONE who received and helpedsudhama - his
friend - at that time he’s still present in that physical body).

And thus how entire Mahabharata ishandled by Lord Narayana - As Lord Krishna’s
role ended as he is watching warfrom his dwaraka from the top.

(NOTE2:we need to understand that here lord krishna and lord narayana are
different -one has 2 hands and other has 4 hands and both are having different
color - if you have done satyanarayana varatam you will observe how lord
narayana is in whitish color - butboth lord krishna - lord vishnu has same
color - blackish blue - black color).

Butstill both are different, I hope I have answered your question and Yes, Lord
Krishna gave up using his flute - as Flute came from Devi Radha-> Lord Krishna
- (Just like how Krishna is nothing without Radha).

It’s an amazing love story do explore more aboutthis couple than exploring
some TV actors -and I will see you around. Onceagain sorry about lengthy answer.

Mynote- There was different versions about Radha’s death, age, and breaking
offlute.
