Q1         What psychological tricks and hacks areuseful to know?

A1          Shivam Rajbhar, World bookeducation17h

If someone is trying to make you decide in a hurry, they areprobably giving you
a bad deal. Walk away.

Sometimes pretending that you are naivegets you more information.Pretendingis
helpful many times.

Ifyou want to avoid office politics, say good things about co-workers
behindtheir backs.

Physicalcontact makes you more likely to say yes to a request.

If you want to make someone feeluncomfortable, look at their forehead when
you're talking to them.

Whena group of people laugh, they tend to look at the person they like themost.

Nervousnessand excitement have the same body reaction, so if you're nervous for
a speech, instead convince yourself you're excited. Its proven to give better
speeches,too.

Askfor something that seems small, but is related, to what you really want.
Then, once they've agreed to the small thing, just work up with slightly
largerrequests until you've achieved the desired outcome. *The agreement hack!.

Q2         How do I not take life too seriously?

A2         Louis Hamilton, Caretaker at Orphansand Orphanages Aug 17

Haveyou ever thought about this?

In a hundred years, in 2123, there will be none of us, not even ourrelatives
and friends.

Strangers will live in our homes that webuilt with a lot of effort and
failure. They will have all the stuff we have or throw it in the dumpster. Even
the car,for which we spent a fortune, will be lying somewhere in a dump,
Ourdescendants will not remember us and only a few will know who we were. Who
among us knows theirgreat-grandfather?

After death, they will remember us for a few more years, then wewill be just a
portrait on someone's bookshelf (if at all). A few years later our photos and
actionswill be forgotten. We will not live in the memories of anyone anymore.
If you just stopped to thinkabout it one day, you might understand how
pointless it is to walk for more andmore.

Ifwe thought and understood that we are just a dot in the history of mankind,
letalone the earth or the universe, we would certainly look at our lives and
otherpeople differently.

We always strive for more and moreand no time for what really matters....the
moments and the relationships. If we thought about and spent more time HEREAND
NOW, we would really enjoy life.

Wewould enjoy walks we never had time for. We would love a hug. We would
enjoykisses from our children. In the moments that really count, but we ran out
oftime. Those would certainly be the most beautiful and best moments to
rememberand imprinted deep within ourselves. This is how we would fill our
lives withjoy. And now we fill it with greed, intolerance andhate. There is
stilltime. Think about it.

Q5         In ancient times, kings were sometimesgiven maids or servants along
with their queens. What was their actual role?

A5         BATMAN,Unofficial Historian10h

InIndia and many other parts of the world, it was common for kings and
maharajasto have a significant number of servants and maids in their royal
households. The primary reason for thepresence of these servants was the need
to manage the affairs of the entirekingdom efficiently.

Additionally, maids were also appointedfor the upkeep of the palace and its
decorations. However, primarily, maids were chosen fortheir beauty and skill in
their work. In ancient times, all kings would arrange for theeducation and
various arrangements for women in the palace. In this context, maids were
appointed to assist all queens and princesses in various ways.Among these
skilled maids, the most outstanding ones were sent along with the daughters of
kings tosupport them during their marriages. This could be seen as a form of
dowrywhere they were given away in marriage as well. Moreover, in thissystem,
it was the responsibility of the in-laws to provide for the daughtersof the
maids during their marriages.

Furthermore, beyond taking care of thebasic needs and upbringing of their own
children, they were also responsiblefor arranging marriages for theirsons and
daughters at the appropriate time, which was a significantresponsibility in
royal families.

It's important to note that thepractice of having maids and servants in royal
households cannot be equatedwith English slavery, as these maids andservants
were responsible for the overall well-being, living arrangements, wedding
arrangements, and other complete expenses of the family. However, overtime,
exploitation and oppression did become associated with this practice insome
instances.

In the end, it should be mentioned thatthe primary role of these maids was to
provideinformation to the princess about matters related to governance, which
woulddetermine whether the son would inherit the throne or not. These maids
wereexpected to remain unmarried for life and to serve their queens and their
sonsas their ultimate duty.
