Q1         What is the difference between a BSNLlandline connection and an
optic fiber connection?

A1          Gopala Krishnan ,Former Asst. GeneralManager, Retired at Bharat
Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL)0y

In simple non- technical words- B S N Lland line uses separate 2 leads by cable
for each subscriber. This means in a telephone exchange havingfifty thousand
connections, one lakh wires are extended to exchange by cable.

In optical fibre connection SINGLE CABLE isused to give connections to the
subscribers tapping on this optical fibre. There are terminals at definite
areas andthe connection is extended to subscriber with another optical fibre
cable fromthese terminals. So fromthe terminal to each subscriber separate
cables will be lead.

Whereoptical fibre is not started, still old type cable connection is provided
fromBSNL exchanges.I hope the answer is clear.

Q3         What is the best thing you have donetoday?

A3         Rajnish Prajapat, Founder & CEO atPockTrip Updated 3y

Idid something today that will make me smile for entire life.

I frequently visit a coffee shop nearmy flat in Delhi for coffee. I amvisiting
the shop for more than 1 year now.

A couple of months ago, a 13 year old boystarted working there. It mademe
furious on the shop owner because he is promoting child labour
withouthesitation.

Iasked him :“ Don't you know it’s a cognizable criminal offence to employ
aChild for any work?”

He said : “ Yes, I know but you’reseeing only one side story”.

Heexplained that the child is from Bihar and belong to a very poor family.
Lastyear, his family which included his father, child and his sister came to
Delhito earn some money in order to put food in their bellies. His mother died
whenhe was born. His father is doing a job of a security guard while his sister
isworking as a maid in a house.

The child is getting a salary of Rs6000/month at the shop.

Iwent home but I was not able to stop thinking about it.I wanted to do
somethingfor him but I don’t know how to tackle the situation.

In July, he was not on the shop for acouple of days, soI asked the owner and
got to know his sister died due to somehealth issues. It made me feel worse.

Aftera few days, he joined the shop again. I started talking to him daily to
knowmore about him and his aspiration. He studied till 3rd class but left study
to help his family.

Iasked him if he wants to study? He said nothing but his glittered eyes gave
methe answer.

Slowly,he became my friend. He used to ask me about what do I do and how I
learnedthese things. I used to answer him in the best understanding way.

Idon’t know but it created a great bond between us. I was really desperate to
help this kid.

Afew days ago, I was drinking coffee with a few of my friends. I was asking
thema logical question (Which I saw in a video of Ted-ED)

Noone gave the right answer but that kid was listening to all things and said
:“Bhaiya, mein batau?” (Bhaiya, may I tell?)

Iwas shocked, how sharp he was to give the correct answer. I gave him 50
rupeesas a reward and left the place.

I decided that I will give him a betterlife whatever it takes. Istarted telling
his story to people in my network so that if someone will comeforward to help
me.

Oneof my friends came forward who is working in an MNC and his wife is doing
somea Non-profit work.

Today, that kid got admission in a boardingschool.

Itwill only cost us 40,000 Rs/year and I will pay his salary of Rs6000/month to
his father.

Aftera few days, he will be in school and I cannot express my happiness
andsatisfaction.

Iwant to work more for children if some people come forward and make it
possibletogether.

Q4         What things should I never do?

A4         Vraj Patel, Keep away from my books! Updated6y

Never (ever) touch someone’s laptop screenwith your fingertip.    Never do this
with someone’s book.

Pleaseuse bookmarks. Please.

Nevertake too much interest in someone else’s life, mind your own business.

Neverbelieve on these types of Instagram quotes, “People having
extraordinarycreativity tend to have less sleep at night.” You’ll have less
capacity tolearn, you need deep sleep for deep insights.

Inspiration isn't imitation. Don’t be asheep, just becausesomeone else is doing
it, doesn't mean it works for you.

“Neverdeduce that attraction is love.”

Neverdo something stupid just to fulfil your desire, know difference between
desireand dream.

Don'tspeak bitter words when you are angry, regret is unbearable.

Don't rush. Never. If you're late foroffice or college,it will make difference
of a few seconds at most. Your life is far more valuable.

Q5         Who is this Bhairava who was beheadedby Maa Vaishno Devi?

A5         Kumar Vaibhav, Lives in India(2003–present)14h

The story of Bhairava being beheaded byMaa Vaishno Devi is part of Hindu
mythology.

Hewas considered to have control over all tantrik Siddhi and had grown
arrogantof his power. He went after vaishno devi, considering her to be a
little girl. It was only when mata Vaishno Devi took the form of Kali and
beheadBhairav and in last he realized her true form and asked for forgiveness.

Inhis dying moments, Bhairav pleaded for forgiveness. The Goddess knew that
Bhairav's main intention inattacking her was to achieve his salvation. She not
only granted Bhairavliberation from the cycle of reincarnation, but also
granted him a boon, whereby every devotee, in order to ensure completion of the
pilgrimage ofVaishno Devi, shall also have to visit Bhairav Nath's temple
nearthe Holy cave after having the darshan of the Goddess.

The story symbolizes the triumph ofdivine feminine energy over thedestructive
forces and highlights the compassionate nature of the Goddess.

Q6         What are some interesting facts aboutfish?

A6         Ian O'Grady, Studied TV and FilmProduction Aug 11

It’s impossible to buy a live Tuna. Although they are one of the mightiest
fishin the ocean they die assoon as they are brought on board the fishing
vessel. In fact, when theyswim in the sea they will die almost instantly if
they stopped swimming.

This is because Tuna breath through aprocess called Ram Ventilation. This mean
they have to keep moving to let water flow over their gills, constantly
supplying them with oxygen. This is even true when they aresleeping. They’re
also one of three species of fish, Tuna, Opah, and mackerelsharks that can
maintain a temperature higher than the surrounding water.

My note- The QA is added for general informationabout Tuna fish.

Q7         What are the most powerful quotes youhave ever come across?

A7         Shivam Rajbhar, Sun

Stay genuine, tables will turn.

Inlife you are presented with two choices “evolve or repeat”.

Ifyou get that gut feeling that something isn’t right about a person
orsituation, trust it.

Be ready to lose anyone anytime.

Apologizewhen you’re wrong. Stop looking for quotes that support your stupidity.

Commitmentisn’t scary, wasting years of your life is.

Anythingyou lose by speaking your truth isn’t a loss. It’s an alignment.

The less you say, the more your wordswill matter.

Yourlife isn’t yours if you always care what others think.    Working on
yourself, by yourself, foryourself.

All the above QA are from Quora DIGEST to me  on   13-09-2023.

Quora answers need not be 100% correct answers.
