Q1         Is it healthy to walk faster or longer?

A1          Dhan Dorji Pakhring,11mo

Walk Fast Or Walk Longer?

Saythe word “exercise,” you immediately imagine someone jogging down a
path, pedaling fast on a stationary bicycle or sweating in a high-energy
cardioclass. However, what might not come to mind is an image of a brisk walk
on apleasant day. Just as other exercises vary in style, there are various
types of walking styles.. So, isit better to walk faster or longer for better
heart health?

Short, Fast Walks

If you have a busy schedule andstruggle to find time towork out each day, then
short, fast walks provide all the benefits of aerobicactivity. The speed gives
you “more bang for the buck” when you do not havemuch time to exercise. For
example, high-intensity walking:

•Strengthens the heart

•Lowers the risk of cardiovascular disease

•Improves cognitive function

•Activates the immune system

•Improves your mood

About 15 minutes ofhigh-intensity walking a day equals about 30 minutes of
moderate-intensitywalking.

Long, Slower Walks

A longer walk may take more time, butthe activity lowers your risk of injury
and provides many of the same healthbenefits as walking faster. A longerwalk
builds endurance so that you can, over time, cover longer distances.Consistent
walking allows you to combine both distance and speed gradually. Ratherthan
settle for only walking faster or only walking longer.

About 22 days back, I went to theAirtel outlet near meto close the mobile
connection for my notebook which became faulty and beyondrepair being about 10
years old. Staff immediately disconnected as I desiredsince it was additional
beyond one family connection. I asked anything more, the staff told me there
will be a call from head office to confirm. It wasmorning 10 AM.

Inthe evening by 5 PM there was a call, as told from Head office. The lady made
the call to me desiredI can continue the number keeping in safe custody till I
purchase a new notebook, and small rent of Rs 59–00 will be charged. I
answered, purchasing a new note book is not thought having smart phone.

So keeping in safe custody, rent will be smaller, the same number is reserved
for you. This may be usefulfor those working in foreign countries and spent a
short period in India.

Krishna, a significant deity in Hinduism,is oftenassociated with the color
blue. His favorite color, according to Hindumythology and tradition, is
commonly described as "Krishna blue" or "darkblue." This association withblue
can be attributed to several legends and symbolic interpretations.

1. Divine Blue Complexion: Krishna isfrequently depictedwith a dark blue or
azure complexion, which is believed to represent his divinenature. This color
is said to symbolize the infinite and the boundless, reflecting Krishna's
transcendental qualities.

Q4         What are some of the greatest discoveries/inventions made byIndians
in the last 200 years?

A4         Roman Saini, Co-Founder, Unacademy Updated6y

Yellapragada Subbarao

Doesthe name ring any bell?Nope. No problem.Lets have a look at this pic then.

Stillnothing? Nada?

Iam pretty sure that most of you have never heard this name (except those
living in Andhra Pradesh).Yet he was one of the most important biochemist and
scientists of not onlyIndia but of entire world in the 20th century.

He lead one of the mostimportant medical researches in America during World War
Two.

He discovered the role of phosphocreatineand adenosine triphosphate (ATP) as an
energy source in the cell. This lead to the foundation of biochemistry andall
the further discoveries in this field are directly or indirectly influencedby
this.

He developed methotrexatefor the treatment of cancer. This, without a doubt, is
the single most important drug for the treatment ofinnumerable cancers. He has
saved literally millions of life through this drug.

He discovered Diethylcarbamazine. Thisdrug is the only good treatmentavailable
for filariasis or elephant foot, which if not treated, makes the life of the
patient aliving hell.

Working under Subbarao's guidance, Duggar made his discovery of the world's
firsttetracycline antibiotic     , Aureomycin, in 1945. Do youhave any idea
what does word Aureo signifies. It is a latin word for Gold, meaning that it
ushered theGolden era of antibiotics where millions of death will be prevented.

Despiteall these superhuman achievements:

Exceptfew people who are working in this field, no one knows him, especially
inIndia.

He was denied fellowship in Harvard.

He lived without a green card throughout his life.

He was wronged by many of his fellowcolleagues, who tookall the fame, glory and
patents on his work.

He was awarded a lesser LMScertificate not a full MBBS degree despite being one
of the best student in theclass. This is because he wore Khadisurgical dresses
on Gandhi's boycott call, which displeased Dr. Bradfield, hissurgical professor.

Please spread this message as much as youcan about Dr. Subbarao. He isone of
the best minds India has ever produced and I always cry when peopledisplay
their ignorance by saying that why don't India have good scientists inmedical
field.

He was, and still is, my inspiration topursue excellence in all theendeavors of
human life. No matter how constrained and tied you are in terms ofresources, if
you have talent and single-minded ruthless focus, like Dr.Subbarao, you can
literally achieve whatever you want.

Don'tbehave like dumb wits, worshiping celebrities, reality shows and stupid
TVseries and movies, which lowers the IQ of entire human race.

Lets celebrate our true heroes, which makeindelible impact on real life.

Edit:Thanks for listening guys and promoting it. Keep it up and share it as
much as you can, till allIndians are aware about this unrewarded genius.

Q5         What is the difference between an educated person, anintelligent
person and a genius?

A5Lokenath Roy, Questions are just misunderstood answers May 20

An educated person is like a library -full of knowledge and facts, quotes and
stories carefully sorted on shelves.

An intelligent person is like a computer-able to processinformation quickly and
connect disparate ideas in logical ways.

But a genius is like a magical garden -where facts grow into deeper truths,
logic blossoms into intuition, andknowledge takes on a life of its own.

Education fills the mind, intelligencehones it, but genius ignites the heart.
It buds from within, watered by passionand wonder.

An educated person you can teach, an intelligent person you can discuss with.
But a genius you canonly stand in awe of, as something new emerges from their
interaction with theworld, revealing dimensions of experience you had not seen.

Education organizes, intelligence analyzes, but only genius can create, giving
form to what lies formless within, breaking rules yet making its own.
