Q1         If the sun is only hydrogen and helium(no solid objects like dirt or
rocks) then why is its gravity so extreme?

A1          John McManus, rocket science is just ahobby Sep 23

Mass determines gravity.Correct, atleast in Newtonian systems, and a solar
system is small enough for Newtoniangravity to be applied.

Hydrogen and helium have mass. Not a great deal of mass, a cubic metre
ofhydrogen has significantly less mass than a cubic metre of iridium, but
itstill has mass.

Thesun is, if you’ll excuse my French, huge.

Check this comparison:

Yousee the tiny little blob on the left of the bottom row? No, not the blue
one, that’s Uranus; I mean the grey dot underneath it. That’s Earth.

Earthis denser than the sun, but the sun is so huge that its mass is about
333ktimes that of our home planet.

Hydrogenand helium are low mass, but the sun contains such an enormous amount
of boththat the “heavier” components of earth are irrelevant.

Q2         How dangerous are CT scans withcontrast?

A2         Silk Road, AI Expert 1h

Contrastdye is a substance that makes certain tissues or organs stand out more
clearlyon the CT images.

It can help your doctor see things thatmight otherwise be missed.

But itcan also cause some nasty side effects, like allergic reactions, kidney
damage,or even death in very rare cases.

The risk of having an allergicreaction to contrast dye is very low, but it can
happen. Some people may experienceitching, hives, swelling, or difficulty
breathing after getting the dye.

These reactions are usually mild andcan be treated with antihistamines or
steroids. But in some cases, they canbe severe and life-threatening, requiring
emergency care.

The risk of having kidney damage fromcontrast dye is also low, but it can
happen. Some people may have reduced kidney function or even kidney failure
aftergetting the dye.

This is more likely if youalready have kidney problems, diabetes, high blood
pressure, or heart disease.

To prevent this, your doctor may askyou to drink plenty of fluids before and
after the scan, or give you medicationto protect your kidneys.

The risk of dying from contrast dye isextremely low, but it can happen. Some
people may have a rare condition called contrast-inducednephropathy (CIN),
whichis a sudden worsening of kidney function after getting the dye.

This can lead to fluid overload, heartfailure, and death. The exact cause of
CIN is not known, but it may be relatedto inflammation, oxidative stress, or
blood clots in the kidneys.

Now, not all scans need contrast. This depends on what part of your body
isbeing scanned and what your doctor is looking for.

If you have a CT scan of your brain, you may need contrast dye to show blood
vessels, tumors, infections, orstrokes.

If you have a CT scan of your abdomen, you may need contrast dye to showorgans
like the liver, pancreas, spleen, or kidneys.

Thebottom line is: contrast dye can help your doctor see things better on your
CTscan, but it also comes with some risks.

History Of The CT Scanner

This revolutionary machine all started witha crazy idea from a Britishengineer
named Godfrey Hounsfieldin 1967.

Hewanted to create a machine that could take X-rays from different angles and
usea computer to reconstruct a 3D image of an object.

He called his machine a "3D X-raymachine", but we nowknow it as a CT scanner.

Hounsfield worked for an electronicscompany called EMI (yes, the sameone that
signed The Beatles), which gave him funding and support for hisproject.

He built his first prototype in 1971and tested it on acow's brain (don't worry,
the cow was already dead).

The results were impressive: he couldsee details of thebrain that were
impossible to see with conventional X-rays.

Hounsfieldthen teamed up with a radiologist named James Ambrose to test his
machine onhumans at a hospital in London.

    EMI Scanner Mark 1

They scanned their first patient in1971: a woman with asuspected brain tumor.
The CT scan confirmed the diagnosis and showed the exactlocation and size of
the tumor.

Hounsfieldand Ambrose published their findings in 1972 and caused a sensation
in themedical world. They had invented a new way of seeing inside the human
bodywithout surgery or invasive procedures. They had revolutionized
diagnosticimaging.

Hounsfieldand Ambrose received many awards and honors for their invention,
including theNobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 1979. Hounsfield was also
knighted byQueen Elizabeth II in 1981.

Since then, CT scanners have improved alot. They have become faster, more
accurate, more versatile, and more accessible.

They can scan not only the brain, butalso the chest, abdomen, pelvis, spine, and
extremities. They can also scan the heart and bloodvessels, using a
techniquecalled CT angiography.

CT scanners are now widely used inhospitals and clinicsaround the world. They
help doctors diagnose and treat many conditions, such ascancer, trauma,
infection, inflammation, and more. They save lives and improvehealth outcomes.

But they also have some drawbacks, such asradiation exposure, contrast dye
risks, and high costs. They are not perfect and they are notfor everyone. They
should be used wisely and appropriately.

Ihope this fully answered your question cheers.

My note- Very informative answer in simple language.

Q3         What are the most incredible displaysof affection by animals to
humans in history?

A3         Denise Bluestein, Worked at Ministry ofEnvironment, Conservation and
Parks3y

Christian the lion was born in a Devon zooon August 12,1969 but was rejected by
his mother and at a few months of age, hewas sold to Harrods, the prestigious
London department store (how times havechanged).

John Rendall and Ace Bourke had justmoved to Londonfrom Australia and while
exploring their new city, came upon the great big kitty in the window atHarrods
and brought him home to their flat and with the help of a couple offriends,
took the greatest care of the cub.

When Christian was about a year old andgetting bigger John and Ace ranan
antique shop, made acozy home for Christian below, while they lived atop the
shop.

TheLion of London was permitted special access by a local vicar to run and
playabout at the Moravian church graveyard.

The 3 bonded deeply and spent a lottime together enjoying convertible car rides
and day trips to the seaside.

Oneday quite by coincidence, the actors from the movie Born Free popped into
theantique shop where they met Christian, who was gettingvery big and although
he was living a charmed life, it was thought that he would not fare well, long
term, in acity environment.

The actors suggested that John andAce consult withGeorge Adamson to
rehabilitate Christian into the African wild. George was a
Britishconservationist and an advocate of lions in Kenya, who together with his
wife,Joy, raised and released Elsa the lioness from the movie Born Free. The
couple agreed to reintegrateChristian into the wild at their compound in the
Kora National Reserve.

Georgehad even selected a small lion pride to which Christian could join when
he wasready.

Christian’s small pride suffered manychallenges over thefirst year including
losing its leader. Christian, convertible passenger, seaside stroller and all
around good cat became head of his own pride.

George shared the successfulreintegration of Christian with John and Ace who
missed their furry friend so they planned a visit andwere filmed for the
documentary Christian, The Lion at World's End. The men were cautioned
thatChristian may not remember them.

This was not the case - Christianremembered!

Hereis a reunion pic…

Alsofilmed were 2 lionesses and a foster cub named Supercub who came over
towelcome John and Ace.

2 years later, in 1973 John and Ace decidedto visit Christian again. George had
not seenChristian around the compound for 9 months but the pair were committed
to this second visit.

Coincidence? The day before John and Ace were set to arrive for visit #2,
Christian et alreturned to the compound!

Bythis time, Christian had doubled in size. had cubs of his own, and
wasdefending his own growing pride.

Althoughmostly unfilmed, here is a brief description of the moving second
reunion;

We called him and he stood up andstarted to walk towards us very slowly. Then,
as if he had become convinced it was us, he ran towards us, threwhimself on to
us, knocked us over, knocked George over and hugged us, like heused to, with
his paws on our shoulders.

Noticethe difference in his mane? As a cub in the pics above, Christian
isn’tsporting his mane yet, but looky here….he’s a big boy now!

This last visit was a sleepover. It endedin the morning. George has not seen
Christian around the compound since lateSpring 1973’s reunion.

Christianthe Lion’s baby pic…

Iwatched a doc on this and cried my eyes out because I’d never been moved
byanything in quite thesame way. Still haven’t.

Q4         Who is Mira and why did she want tomarry Lord Krishna?

A4         Surya,Studied Samalpur University &Samalpur University (Graduated
2022)1h

Mira married Lord krishna by his devotionand penance. Mira, tulasi, vrindavati
and all other mortal devotess get krishnaby their selfless devotion.

These all are jiva tatwa like tulsipreviously marrysankhacuda demon who is amsa
of Lord vishnu and jiva tatwa like mira, tulsi etc, later she marry Lord vishnu.
They are not laxmi tatwa. Devi dakshina, bhudevi, radha, sitathese are laxmi
tatwa like varaha, rama, kalki ,bamana, kurma ,matsya are vishnutatwa.

Remembergoddess laxmi always marry mahavishnu as laxmi tatwa coexist with
vishnu tatwa.

Anyjiva can attain vishnu amsa Or laxmi amsa by devotion but tatwa are
different.

Q5         Daily Life: What is the most valuableskill a person can have for
their entire life?

A5         Abhishek Padmasale, A Jack of AllTrades. Master of None.8y

The ability to express your thoughts.

Seriously,I believe this is something most of us lack. It's extremely important
for a person to learn to putinto words, what he thinks. It makes a relationship
last. It creates animpression on the person you're talking to. It gives you a
chance to explorewhat others think about your ideas. It lets you answer
questions on Quora in away other people understand.

Although I'm no expert, I can say thatyou can always develop this skill simply
by learning to talk without fear.

Talk to a stranger, a fellow passenger on atrain or your child-hood crush, they
won't mind (I'm not sure about your crush, though). That way, you'll be forced
to express your thoughts as clearly aspossible. Andthat's exactly how you learn
the art of expressing yourself and your ideas!

So,go out, talk to someone. Unleash your mind. Express yourself!
