मङ्गलाशासनम्

मुनिपत्नीमहल्यां यो पतितां समपावयत् ।

सीतापरिणयात् पूर्वं तस्मै रामाय मङ्गलम् ॥१ ॥

                     अश्वार्थं केवलम् खाद्यं गुहाज्जग्राह यो घृणी

                     जलमेवाददे स्वस्मै अस्त्वस्मै शुभमङ्गलम् ॥२ ॥

काकासुरं चित्रकूटे वधार्हं शरणागतम्

यो पर्यपालयद्दान्तः तस्मै भवतु मङ्गलम् ॥३ ॥

                     पितृवाक्पालनार्थं यो नानुमेने निवर्तनम् ।

                     पुरीं प्रति महात्यागी तस्मै भवतु मङ्गलम् ॥४ ॥

                     रक्षितुं राक्षसेभ्यो यो गर्भभूतान् तपोधनान्

                     धर्ममन्वसरत्क्षात्रं तस्मै भवतु मङ्गलम् ॥५ ॥

                     अपुनरावर्तिनां लोकम् गृध्रं योऽगमयत्प्रभुः

                     रावणेन हतं शूरं तस्मै भवतु मङ्गलम् ॥ ६ ॥

                     शबर्या वृद्धया वन्यं सञ्चितं विविधं फलम् ।

सहर्षं स्वीकृतं येन तस्मै भवतु मङ्गलम् ॥ ७ ॥

                     वालिनं समरे हत्वा यो तत्पुत्रमकारयत् ।

                     यौवराज्येऽभिषिक्तं द्राक् तस्मै भवतु मङ्गलम् ॥ ८ ॥

                     दृष्टा सीतेति वचनं निवेदितवते ददौ ।

                     हनूमते परिष्वङ्गं योऽस्मै भवतु मङ्गलम् ॥९ ॥

                     मित्रभावेन संप्राप्तं पर्यरक्षद्विभीषणम्

                     शरणागतमुद्विग्नं यो तस्मै शुभमङ्गलम् ॥ १० ॥

राक्षसीनां विनाशार्थमुत्सुके मारुतौ यया

तत्प्रवृत्तिर्निषिद्धास्यै सीतायै शुभमङ्गलम् ॥ ११ ॥

सीताभिषेकसमये हारं यस्मै ददौ मुदा।

स्वकंठादवमुच्यास्मै वायुपुत्राय मङ्गलम् ॥ १२ ॥

                      He who took only food from the cave for the sake of
the horse

                      I gave him only water May he be blessed with good
fortune

The crow demon who deserved to be killed took refuge on Chitrakuta mountain

May the self-controlled man who kept it safe be blessed.

                      He who did not allow himself to be turned away in
obedience to his father’s words

                      May he who has made great sacrifices for the city be
blessed

                      He who protected the pregnant women rich in
asceticism from the demons

                      May he who is a kṣatriya following religious
principles be blessed

                      The lord who brought the vulture to the world of
those who never returned

                      May the hero who was killed by Ravana be blessed 6 ॥

                      The old Sabari had gathered a variety of wild fruits.

May all good fortune be upon him who has accepted it with pleasure 7 ॥

                      He who killed Vali in battle and made him his son

                      May the grapevine that has been installed as heir
apparent bestow all good fortune upon him. 8 ॥

                      She told him that she had seen Sita and gave him the
word.

                      May he who embraces Hanuman be blessed

                      He protected Vibhishana who had arrived in a friendly
manner

                      Good luck to anyone who takes refuge in you in
distress 10 ॥
