Animals and plants do exhibit various forms of intelligence, although they
differ significantly in the way they perceive and interact with the world.

Animals often display intelligence through problem-solving abilities,
social interactions, communication, tool usage, and adaptability to their
environments. For instance, dolphins, elephants, primates, and certain bird
species showcase complex problem-solving skills and exhibit social
behaviors akin to human societies.

As for plants, their "intelligence" is quite distinct. They lack brains or
nervous systems but exhibit remarkable adaptive behaviors. Plants respond
to environmental stimuli, such as light, gravity, touch, and even sound.
They can communicate with each other through chemical signals, altering
their growth patterns or releasing substances to protect against threats.

While their intelligence might not be comparable to human cognition, both
animals and plants demonstrate incredible abilities to survive and thrive
in their respective ecosystems through various forms of adaptation,
learning, and response to their surroundings. KR IRS 28 11 23
