There is a long theory of Agama sastra I hold of 167 pages extracted from so many authentic authors. North puja, south puja Ramanand, so many processors since vedic till 1800 AD . The temple construction hence only differs. As a matter of fact , so many western authors have cited in print the cause and effect of the agama and the consecration of the temples. There were hard and fast rules till 767 AD where the whole of India followed a set of uniform principles. But the first hacker was Ramanuja who went against the agama shastra and brought Vaikanasa. From then on 1000 AD the rules were bent as we do today. Hence Ramananda may fit here or if watched closely may not. But onething. All the rituals,samskaras and puja vidhi are only man made interpreting on his own. So deeper debate can be futile. KR IRS 14123
