Thanks.

There is a saying

"We see what we want to see
We hear what we want to hear".

As per another saying
"What we see is not Reality BUT our Perception of Reality".

Haven't we heard
" Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder"

Adi Shankar said the world is " Maya" - the creation of our mind.

*Respected Sir/s,*
*  A German Proverb....*
* "The eyes cannot see what the mind does not want" *
* Our perception and understanding of the world are influenced by our
knowledge and experiences. It implies that our mental framework and
preconceptions shape how we interpret and understand the things we see. In
other words, our awareness and comprehension play a significant role in how
we perceive and make sense of the world around us. This concept highlights
the importance of open-mindedness, learning, and expanding one's knowledge
to truly see and understand the world.*
This emphasizes the idea that our perception goes beyond mere visual
observation. It suggests that our minds filter and process information
based on what we already know or have been exposed to. If we lack knowledge
or understanding about a particular subject or concept, *we may overlook or
misinterpret the significance or meaning of what we perceive*.

In a broader sense, this emphasises the importance of expanding our
knowledge and cultivating an *open and receptive mindset*. By continuously
learning and seeking new information, we can broaden our perspectives,
enhance our understanding, and become more aware of the world around us.
This, in turn, enables us to see things more accurately and comprehensively.

To me it means that a higher level of knowledge or wisdom can only be
attained by incorporating prior symbols, allegories, sacred texts,
meditation, and personal experiences into one's subconscious. By
assimilating these elements, one can synthesize new ideas and gain an
enlightened perspective on the wisdom that needed to be decoded and
comprehended. Possibly because it was occulted by those brilliant mind’s of
our past or even possibly those who brought the higher realm of universal
wisdom for us humans to embody.

Essentially, this perspective emphasizes the significance of inner work,
self-reflection, and the cultivation of a receptive state of mind. By
allowing the mind to synthesize and integrate diverse elements of knowledge
and experience, individuals can access deeper levels of wisdom and gain a
more enlightened view of the world and its complexities.
