Respected sirs,
Though the definition given to Brahmin is the one who knows brahman, I have
read in Deivathinkural sent to me as Kanchimatam letters in 1997's , Periyaval
said- For practical purposes, we may consider a person as brahmin if he is
born to Brahmin parents.
I have no matam letter to produce as proof, it is from my memory.
