My comments:- As far as we know, Sri Rangaachaari and Sri Raamaanujam were
both died-in-the wool chauvinist Iyyengaars. They wore no vibhoothi like us.
On the contrary, they wore a v-shaped anglular line in white running from their
noses upwards, with a vertical dark-red line in between running up to their
hairlines. They did no shiva (panchaayathana) pooja, visited no Shaivaite
temples, and ran a hundred yards on hearing "Shiva-Shiva" uttered by others.
Our pseudo-philisopher Sri Raajaaraam Krishnamurthy superficially appears to
have a double-Vaishnavaite name. One reader identified him, from his own
description, as a thenkalai iyyengaar.
But in an old photo of himself and his wife, he appears to wear a short
one-inch horizontal stripe of vibhoothi in the middle of his forehead. His
wife, by contrast, wears a half-inch vertical dark-red kumkum stripe on her
forehead.
In his usual broken English, he boasts:-
"We never falsely Gloster over as brahmins."
Why is he ashamed to be recognised as a braahmana?
Too much merged with dalits such as Valluvan, Nandan, Ambedkar?

வெளிப்படுத்துவதை நாகரீகம், நகைச்சுவை என்கிற பெயரில் மொட்டையாக கிண்டல் செய்து
வளர்த்து விட்டோம். நாம் என்றாவது தாடி வளர்த்த பாயை கிண்டல் செய்த படம்
பார்த்திருப்போமா? பாதிரியை கிண்டல் செய்வதை படமாக்கியிருப்போமா? மாட்டோம்
அவர்களை ரொம்ப புனித தியாகிகளாகவே காட்டுவோம்.
அவர்கள் எவ்வளவு பெரிய தியாகிகள் என்று தினம் பேப்பரை எடுத்து பாருங்கள்.

உலகெங்கிலும் தன்னை நிறுவிக் கொள்ள போராடும் இரண்டு இயக்கங்கள் முதலில் மக்களின்
தனித்துவ அடையாளங்களை அழிப்பதில் தான் தொடங்குகின்றன.
இது தவறு ! நம் நாடு! நம் அடையாளம். நம் நம்பிக்கை ! நம் கலாசாரம். அன்றிலிருந்து
நான் என் உடைகளில் முடிந்த வரை காவியை சேர்த்தே வருகிறேன். நெற்றியில் சந்தனம்
குங்குமம் இட்டே வலம் வருகிறேன்.
