I read many mails like this. But a tweeting to railway minister is still
required to get even biscuits and water.
About five years back I was traveling from Trivandrum to Tambaram by Chennai
express. Near Tirunelveli one person got in with iddalies and chutny. A lady
sitting near told me on seeing my hesitation to take from him- Sir, excellent,
you take from him. Nothing you will get on the way. I took iddali from him,
waited to see any railway catering appear. No body. Catering in the trains from
Egmore via Madurai route is very poor. The response from railway side is poor
sales it appears. I do not know any improvement now, since I have not traveled
in train in recent years.

Utterly unbelievable. The short story is this.
A child, travelling on the express train between Trichy and Chennai, was
hungry. There was no food supply on the train. The child started to cry. A
fellow-passenger took out a packet of biscuits; but only two biscuits were
there. The story-teller spoke to a train employee in Hindi. He left without
answering, but later returned with an unopened packet of biscuits, which the
child consumed. After consuming the biscuits, the child cried for "juice".
None was available on the train. The child continued crying.
A fellow-traveller on the train sent a "tweet" on his phone from the train to
the Railways Minister in New Delhi. Within twelve minutes, a bevy of train
employees appeared, with a tray full of biscuits, and a bottle of juice.

வழங்குகிறது, அதற்குடிக்கட்டுடன் பணம்செலுத்த வேண்டும்,தேவை இல்லை எனகூறி பணம்
செலுத்தாமலும் இருக்கலாம்.ரயிலில் ஒரு பக்கம் 3இருக்கைகள் மறுபுறம்இரண்டு
இருக்கைகள்.நான் இருவர் அமரும்இருக்கையில் ஒன்றில்அமரந்தேன், என் பக்கத்தில்
சுமார் 30வயதிற்குள் இருக்கும்ஒரு பெண் தன் 3 வயதுகுழந்தையுடன் அமரந்தாள்.(அவள்
டிக்கெட்டுடன் உணவு சேர்க்கவில்லை என நினைக்கிறேன்) ரயில் புறப்பட்டு சென்று
கொண்டிருந்தது, குழந்தை தாயுடன்விளையாடிக்கொண்டு இருந்தது, ரயில் திருச்சிரயில்
நிலையத்தை சுமார் 5 30 மணிக்கு சென்றடைந்தது, எங்கள் பெட்டியின்எதிரே
நடைமேடையில்தண்ணீர், பிஸ்கட்போன்ற பொருட்களை விற்கும் கடைஇருந்தது.குழந்தை
கடையைபாரத்து தனக்கு LittleHearts வேண்டும் எனகேட்டது, தாய் உடனேவாங்கி வரேன் இந்த
ரயிலில் விற்பனைக்குஎதுவும் வரவில்லை எனகூறிக்கொண்டே இறங்க முற்பட்டாள்,நான் ரயில்
கிளம்பிவிடும் 2 நிமிடம்தான் நிற்கும் என கூறிஅவளை தடுத்து விட்டேன். ரயில்
உடனேபுறப்பட்டது குழந்தைஅழ தொடங்கியது, அந்த பெண் பையிலிருந்து பிஸ்கட்பாக்கெட்டை
எடுத்தாள்அதில் இரண்டு பிஸ்கட்மட்டுமே இருந்தது,குழந்தைக்கோ பசிஅழுகை இன்னும்
அதிகமானது, என்னிடம்இங்கே காசு கொடுத்தால் எதாவதுவாங்க முடியுமா எனகேட்டாள்,
இருங்கள்கேட்கிறேன் என்றுIRCTC ஊழியரிடம்ஹிந்தியில் கேட்டேன்பதிலளிக்காமல்
போய்விட்டார், ஆனால் உடனே ஒரு சிறிய பிஸ்கட் பாக்கெட்டுடன்வந்து கொடுத்து
விட்டுபோனார் பணம் வேண்டாம் என கூறிச்சென்றார்.

போது ஒரு 5IRCTC ஊழியர்கள் என்முன்னே ஒரு தட்டில் பிஸ்கட், பன், சிப்ஸ்ஒரு ஜூஸ்
பாகிகெட்டைவைத்து குழந்தைக்குகொடுங்கள் இது ரயில்வே அமைச்சரின்உத்தரவு
என்றார்கள்.எனக்கு நம்ப முடியவில்லை, ட்வீட்கொடுத்து சரியாக 12நிமிடங்கள்
மட்டுமேஆகி இருந்தது.குழந்தை மிக குஷியாகிவிட்டது.
நாங்கள் அனைவரும் ஆச்சரியத்தில் உறைந்து போய் இருந்தோம்.வெரும் 12 நிமிடங்க ளில்
டெல்லியில் மாலை 6 மணிக்கு மேல்முடிவு எடுத்து ஓடும்ரயிலில் இருக்கும் ஓட்டுனர்,
ரயில் கார்டு, பணியாளர்களுக்குஉத்தரவு தருவது எல்லாம் நம் நாட்டில்இது வரை
நினைத்து கூட பார்க்காத ஒரு நிகழ்வு, இதை பகிர்வதில் மகிழ்ச்சி அடைகிறேன்.*🤩
