Mr Rajaram,
The basic problem with you is  your ego. You wrote English worse than a
Kalahasthi priest writes  about Rahukala pooja in very bad English. I just
corrected your response in a readable manner.

But you are not ready to accept. Instead you are bringing a saying in Tamil.
"The lady  who does not know to perform dance perfectly  blamed the street is
having an  angle, affecting her dance"

An appropriate saying suited to you, not for me

CULTURAL QA 03-2024-08A

Q1      Why doairplanes prefer to fly over the ocean?

Q3      What doDoctors know and I don't know but I should know?

KR         110 120isa risk factor; but good one in diabetics in fasting. Tiny
is a good doctorbut as his experience writes something which can be read and
passed off. Askingwhy I got it is normal even if it’s a small fever; doctors
who knew well alsoget it; so, what? Why generally? Health is well analysed in
our Vedic verses aswell as in Ayurvedham; as long as we are like ants, or a
bee, in spite of manynegative factors, we are marching forward; and what is
behind that? THE MIND.

TAITRIYA UPANISHAD SIKSHA VALLI 4TH ANUVAKA

śarīraṃ me vicarṣaṇam| jihvāme madhumattamā | karṇābhyāṃ bhūri viśruvam |
brahmaṇaḥ kośo'si medhayā pihitaḥ| śrutaṃ me gopāya || 2 ||

2. Able may my bodybe, sweetest be my tongue! With ears much may I hear! The
sheath ofBrahman art thou, veiled by intelligence. What I have learned do
Thoukeep.

Moreover, may my body be able! May my tongue be sweetest, uttering only what is
most agreeable! With ears much may I hear! May mykārya-kāraṇa-sanghāta the
aggregate of the causes and the effects, i.e.,the gross physical body and the
subtle senses making up my wholebodily organism—be competent for Ātma-jñāna,
competent to acquire a knowledgeof the Self. And it is for the same end that I
pray for Medha, intellectualretentiveness. Of Brahman, of the Paramatman or
Highest Self, Thou art thesheath, as of a sword, being the seat of His
manifestation.

I speak of Thee as the sheath of Brahman because those whohave cast aside all
worldly desires perceive the Suprem e in Thee, andbecause, as both the
designation and the symbol of Brahman, Thou art alone themeans of perceiving
Him.—(S.)

Thou art indeed the Pratīka, the symbol of Brahman: inThee Brahman is
perceived. By worldly intelligence Thou art concealed:that is to say, the truth
concerning Thee is unknownto men of common intelligence.

Concealed as Thou art by their worldly intelligence, they whose thoughts are
engrossed in the external objects do notcontemplate Thee, the Divine Being, who
givest immortality.—(S.)

Do Thou guard what I have heard, do thou guard my wisdom, the knowledge of the
Self and the like which I have acquired by hearingthe scriptural texts; that is
to say, do Thou enable me to acquire wisdomand retain it.

Do Thou guard my wisdom from the attacks of attachment, aversion and other such
evils: do Thou so watch that when I am engaged in thestudy of scriptures and in
other means of acquiring knowledge, I may notmeet with any obstacles to wisdom,
such as worldly attachment andthe like.—(S.)

These mantras areto be repeated by him who wishes to improve the retentive
power of memory.

As I seek wisdom, may my body be healthy and thus efficient for a practice of
contemplation! Maymy tongue be endued with extreme sweetness; may it be an
aptorgan wherewith to recite the scriptural texts! May I hear manya scriptural
text conducive to the growth of wisdom: may I not beafflicted with the evil of
deafness. O Praṇava, Thou art the place where Imay meditate upon the Supreme
Being, the Cause of the universe. Just as aleather-sheath is the place for
preserving a sword, so is Praṇava theplace for a safe meditation of Brahman.
Accordingly, concerningthe syllable ‘Om,’ the Kaṭha-Upaniṣad says:

“This is the best means, this the highest means.”

Thus Praṇava is associated with the retentive power ofintellect. Do Thou, O
Supreme Lord, designated as Thou art by that grandPraṇava, protect my
learning—all the secret truths of the Veda that I havelearned with my ears— by
way of removing the obstacles of forgetfulnessand the like.

And What Doctor Hegde says is in line with the sanathanadharma. :

CULTURALQA 03-2024-08A

All the below   QA are from Quora DIGEST to me  on   08-03-2024.

Selectedquora answers generally interesting including jokes are included. Still
they  need not be 100% correct answers. I am only a compiler.

Compiled and posted by R. Gopala Krishnan, 80,    on 08-03-2024.

Q1      Why doairplanes prefer to fly over the ocean?

A1      AmitSingh,Mar 2

Have you everwondered why your flight path curved over the ocean, even though
it seemed outof the way? It'sall about efficiency and safety, friends! Let's
dive into this fascinatingaspect of air travel.

Aircraft oftenfollow what's known as the "Great Circle" route. This mightlook
curved on a flat map, but it's actually the shortest distance between twopoints
on a globe. When you're traveling thousands of miles, following aGreat Circle
route saves time and fuel, even if it seems to curve oddly over theocean.

Plus, there's the added benefit of smoother rides.

Over the ocean, air tends to be less turbulent compared toover land, thanksto
the uniform temperature of the sea surface.

This means less bouncing around for you and your in-flightdrink! So, thenext
time you're on a plane, look out of the window and appreciate the oceanbeneath
- it's not just a pretty view, it's part of smart and efficientaviation.

Q2      What aresome of the most profound jokes ever?

A2      DavidPhelps, Jewish Mayflower Descendant11y

A man dies and goes to hell. Once there, he finds thatthere is a different hell
for each country, so he tries to seek out the leastpainful one.

At the door toGerman Hell, he is told: "First they put you in an electric chair
for an hour. Then theylay you on a bed of nails for another hour. Then the
German devil comes in and whips you for the restof the day."

He does not like the sound of that, so he checks outAmerican Hell, Russian Hell
and many more. They are all similarly gruesome. However, at Nigerian Hell a
longline of people is waiting to get in. Amazed, he asks, "What do they dohere?"

He is told: "First they put you in an electricchair for an hour. Then they lay
you on a bed of nails for another hour. Thenthe Nigerian devil comes in and
whips you for the rest of the day."

"But that's the same as the others," saysthe man. "Why are so many people
waiting to get in?"

"Becauseof the power cuts, the electric chair does not work. Thenails were paid
for but never supplied, so the bed is comfortable. Andthe Nigerian devil used
to bea civil servant, so he comes in, signs his time sheet and goes back home
forprivate business." Tolu Ogunlesi

Q3      What doDoctors know and I don't know but I should know?

A3      TinyNair, Cardiologist at PRS Hospital, Trivandrum4y

Declassified Secrets – for your eyes only

1.A suddencatastrophe, like an acute heart attack, is a life changing event for
mostpeople. Thetreatment like an angioplasty or bypass surgery is, no doubt,
life-saving;people get impressed by them; even flaunt the news around. Yes,
theseprocedures save life. But they do nothing; (I repeat: nothing) to
preventprogression of the disease that produced the block in the first place.
Thepatient needs to continue medicines (statins, aspirin and many more) life
long,at full dose, to prevent a recurrence.

2.Thereasons why the attack occurred in the first place, are a bunch of risk
factorslike hypertension, diabetes, highcholesterol levels and smoking. Majority
of people who ask us ‘why did Iget this attack? I have no such disease’
actually have mild levels of multiplerisk factors –

Fasting blood sugar between 110 to 126. (Impaired fasting glucose -IFG)

Mild hypertension – BP between 120/80 to 140/90

Mildly elevated LDL Cholesterol 100 to 130mg%

Smoking just 2 cigarettes per day.

Most people don’t even consider the above as riskfactors.

Combination of two or more of these ‘mild’ riskfactors increase the chance of a
heart attack several folds.

-

3.Galelio Galileilived up to age 77 years age; Isaac newton 84 years;
Michelangelo 88 Years

All these people lived and died, much beforeintroduction of sanitation,
vaccinations, antibiotics, intensive care units, angioplasty or bypass surgery.
Modern medicine has not prolonged ourlife, just prevented early death.

4.Don’t bescared of medicines. Don’t haggle with your doctor every time asking
him to somehow reduce themedicines. Majority of them are, by far, quite safe
for most of us. A rarereaction makes headlines, but those millions who improve
don’t. The aim is toremain healthy and continue with our present lifestyle;
whether you are takingone tablet, or ten, doesn’t matter.

If you thought, doctors are supposed to know allthese; read the last one.

‘Doctor patients’ arethe ones, who are most difficult to treat; because they
ask us exactly thesesame questions :)

After all, when sickness strikes, we become mentallyfragile; even thestaunch,
‘die-hard’ non-believer start praying.

Q5      What animalshave a stronger bite force than a great white shark, but
are not known to bedangerous to humans?

A5      JoeQuincy,B.A. in Ancient Artifacts, University of Hawaii Maui College
(Graduated2008)22h

My old neighborhad a parrot named Keith. He’d invite me over for beers and show
off all the stuff Keithcould bite through. Once I saw him snap a carpenter’s
pencil like a twig.

One day when Igot home from work, I saw my neighbor getting out of his car with
his handbandaged up. Hesaid he had a few too many beers and tried to get Keith
to bite through rebar. Keith got angry and took his left pinky finger off.

A month later I came home to see the same thing. Ithought surely there’s no way
this happened again. Lo and behold, he pissedKeith off and lost his left middle
finger.

I asked if it was safe to keep Keith anymore. He said hewasn’t taking anymore
chances and had set Keith free after the secondfinger. Somewhere in southern
Illinois there’s a large human-hating parrot on the loose with an incredible
bite force
