According to OpIndia and others, when the ED approached the Delhi High Court against giving him immunity against "coercive action", the court asked some evidence of his alleged misdeeds, E D showed it to the judges in their private chambers as some of them would have alerted the wrong ones, if published. They wanted to confront Kejriwal with these evidences after taking him in their custody. So damaging were they (allegedly including hiring retired intelligence officers for espionage , trying to procure snooping equipment from Israel (used by the Govt of India against China and Pak) and others, the Court refused to give relief to him. His overt and covert support to the Khalistanis is an open secret. This is also *One of the reasons* why he withdrew his bail application to the S C as he was advised that what the E D may give the S C would likely result in denial of bail - as happened to Kavitha, Telangana.
