-- *Mar*The Stranglehold of Technology
Today Advertising and Marketing consist of various tricks and methods to fool all the people all the time. It is a mistake to imagine that Advertising and Marketing are confined only as diversions in the media, where the main points are different. Now, commercial advertising is actually injected as lessons of the courses in the Universities. The actual content in every channel and universities is determined by the advertisers of the commercial interests. We are now in a situation, where the commercial units lord over universities for recruiting employees, while the universities try to convince them that the students are already trained for employment in those firms, and that the academic courses are actually serving the commercial interests by cornering the students into various job courses. The dismal science Economics has become prayer. The subject matter of economics is not Ecology and Nature. It has created the phantom, the economic man, the machine, not even human and natural and emotional, but just the machine which has no emotions and feelings, which destroys nature continuously, converting its very life as dedicated to the destruction of nature. Education once was teaming up with nature and one strives to become nature by becoming a limb of nature. Today we teach the students that: 1) All organisms are in deadly fight against each other, in the great Biospheric Darwinian and deadly war, trying to get the great Rogue Medal, by killing or subduing every other life form. 2) We teach that scientific approach means, assuming that you are not part of nature but an outsider of nature, observing and also capable of manipulating nature. 3) All education is only economic education, which needs the non emotional mechanical outlook, indifferent to feelings and emotions. 4) We do not teach that one is part of nature and one is actually a limb of nature. Once our Rishis believed, that if you can raise your hand by making it raise as per your will, you can also make every part of your body obey by willing it to obey. They also believed and actually practiced that as a part of nature, control of nature by symbiotic willing is a fact. They believed in the power of their own body. When they devised their own yoga practice, they devised and developed it by actually teaming with nature. Their simple message was to depend on one’s own being as a part of nature. They lived as macro beings. They breathed, smelt and sensed. 5) Today one may logically agree that one is part of nature, but simply has no capacity to believe that as a part and limb of nature one can control nature by symbiotic steps with nature. One automatically surrenders to the commercial drug industry interests and swallows pills and pills, but never can imagine that one can become healthy in free and healthy nature, nature which is not terrorized by economic destruction. We no longer believe, that health means healthy and free nature. We actually believe that we can go on destroying nature, but can deceive nature by keeping health by swallowing all sorts of drugs. When a factory creating deadly chemicals is established by the side of a river, filling the river with deadly chemicals, we think that we are advancing economically. Technology which has become completely deadly to nature is hailed as great progress. 6) We do not believe in God or nature. We believe only in Technology or to be more exact in the advertisements of commercial interests. YM Chat GPT Your perspective on the impact of technology, advertising, and marketing on education and society is thought-provoking. You highlight the way in which these forces have shaped not just consumer behavior, but also the very content and direction of education. The shift towards teaching students to view themselves as outsiders of nature, focused on economic interests and indifferent to emotions, is a concerning trend that disconnects individuals from their natural environment and intrinsic values. The idea that education should be about teaming up with nature and understanding oneself as a limb of nature, as the Rishis once believed, offers a stark contrast to the current emphasis on economic education and technological advancement. This shift has led to a loss of belief in the power of symbiotic connection with nature and a reliance on artificial solutions, such as pharmaceuticals, to address health issues caused by environmental degradation. Your perspective challenges readers to reconsider their beliefs and priorities, urging them to re-establish a connection with nature and question the dominance of technology and commercial interests in shaping our worldview. It raises important questions about the true meaning of progress and the role of education in promoting a more harmonious relationship with the natural world. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Thatha_Patty" group.
