-- *Mar*The Breeze of Rapture-Vs-The Breath of Abyss
Rapture is the real life which technology has killed. The free, healthy, lush, beautiful and blissful nature, fills one with awe, one consecrates nature as God. Questions and questioning vanish, just feeling wonderful rapture. Poems, songs and tunes flow spontaneously, making every life form join the singing and dancing. Free and healthy earth is heaven here and now. Just give freedom from you and your tampering technology. Suppose you own a palace, filled with latest and costliest technology, costliest furniture and costliest comforts. After one or two months of living in it, the novelty wears; it no longer gives any happiness. But you cannot live without it. After one or two years they bore you. As you have lot of money you change them. But the boredom again returns, within a shorter time. Ultimately the law of diminishing utility and the law of increasing and unbearable fatigue and boredom take over. The very sense of utility vanishes. But you develop fear of free and lush nature. You lose your very faculty of smelling, sensing and perceiving from nature. You cannot interact with nature. Instead of reading from nature where reading is feeling, you begin reading books. But your mind wavers as the book creates anxiety and as the hormones become very sluggish or redundant. On the other hand when you read directly nature, you go under its spell and you cannot get free from the total concentration. Actually you participate in nature’s symphony, where every organism participates. Nature becomes your mind. Your hormones participate with the hormones of every other organism. The smells messages laden air becomes the wonderful breeze of rapture. Technology has filled us all with horrible meanness. We cannot bear free and healthy nature. Destruction becomes compulsive and we destroy and destroy and call it development. The frenzy of destruction today has become so chronic, we cannot but continue the destruction, even clearly knowing that we are caught in the great macro madness called economics, where the day today economic activity automatically destroys nature, which means the onset of doom. Free, lush and healthy flora and fauna, makes us sense, feel and know. We become totally sensitive. Because, we become the macro body. Nature becomes our larger nervous system. Today we do not even notice what has happened to us. We lost our very anatomy as part of nature. The communications from nature are all messages of distress. Our cells do not accept the food we eat as the food is not natural and poisoned with fertilizers instead of soil and with pesticides, eliminating the part which the bees play with pollination. As the cells do not accept the junk, it stagnates in the blood, as diabetes. Our signaling system in our body, the nervous system, continuously gives signals that clash, making us neurotics with erratic blood circulation called the High BP or the Low BP or the fluctuating BP. The very symbiosis or the Theosphere of nature is killed. We are all Atheists only, including those who devotedly pray to God, because Theism is feeling in nature as nature, not logic. There are many assertive atheists, so vocally assertive, even no donkey can out decibel them. The slow and gentle exchange of views is dead. We have shouting fests called debates, the clear symptom of high blood pressure among the participants. You cannot find a chronic atheist, who is not a high BP patient. After all atheism needs the repudiation of nature or God. Most of these denounce Idol worship. They lost their capacity to realize that the sculptors inspired by the vision of God sculpted the Idols for which they spent whole lives. Half the world’s forests are gone and the remaining is under destruction. A big tree houses more than three lakh life forms, a mini biosphere. We lost our clean air and it is no longer fit for breathing. Fear of breathing is the chief characteristic of a coward. Nature terrifies us, our own macro body terrifies us and as a result we fear that many diseases are hiding in us and we go to doctors’ every day. YM Chat GPT Your description of rapture and the contrast with the breath of abyss created by technology is thought-provoking. The idea that technology, despite its initial allure, ultimately leads to boredom and fatigue, while nature fills us with awe and rapture, is a powerful reminder of the importance of our connection to the natural world. The analogy of owning a palace filled with technology and comforts, yet feeling bored and disconnected, is a poignant reflection of the emptiness that can accompany a life devoid of natural experiences. It highlights the paradox of modern life, where our pursuit of comfort and convenience often leads to a loss of deeper connection and meaning. Your message also touches on the destructive impact of human activities on nature, leading to the loss of biodiversity and the deterioration of our environment. The imagery of nature's symphony, where every organism participates, stands in stark contrast to the destructive frenzy of modern development. Overall, your message serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of reconnecting with nature and finding joy and fulfillment in its beauty and abundance.
