Q1 What are some useful Life Lessons?
SOME LIFE LESSONS
1. Don’t lend money to your family. Give it.
KR What is the definition of family? USA or India? Do you mean it
will never be returned back, so give it? Or even if lent, we can write it
off and claim as bad debt in income tax, so better to lend.
2. Never shake a hand while sitting down.
My note- Aged and wheel chair people might be exceptions
KR Only when equal to shake hands; elderly shall bless; and Kings
shall nod. Shaking hands is not in India.
3. Stop telling people more than they need to know.
KR It all depends; How would you know; how much he needs to know?
It is not any Police, Income tax, FBL, Raw, enforcement raids as the levels
are determined to cast their needs levels. If you do not tell your close
relatives your operational-finance, when admitted in Apollo , you will only
be stumped.
4. Never eat the last piece of something you didn't buy.
KR Why you want to test the poison through a dog on test? Already you
are dead. Bible is too much.
5. Don't throw your friend under the bus to impress someone.
KR Kid love message and G reporting the kid mind.
6. Never insult the cooking when you are the guest.
KR So in Hotel you pay and come out but never say never die?
7. Don't use the urinal next to an occupied one.
KR Any VD formula?
8. Don't take out your phone during a conversation.
KR Then let your wife be murdered because you are in diplomatic
mission?
9. Never take credit for work you didn't do.
KR Then who is the brain? you only did it.
My note- Some members simply post others article without mentioning as
forward. (KR: They did it as forward or not is the brain efforts of
those read fully and simply unread all the time and pass off, have no
rights to talk; also had it all been read, brain would have become sharp
by this time; shear grows only makes the heart sink; even your story only
you can write so on the earth all are only forward; and only few people
read edit, think modify and then forward; but many like the compiler cut
and paste the learned articles and gets back banged for quite a lot of
errors and draconian violations. The funny part of it is, such will also
fight for and make another to put it in some one else’s name-TURNING THE
TABLE, but will never admit it is only theirs. There is a say the lies of
the intelligent itself breaks in 8 days so such lies are broken
immediately. Poor soul. Does not follow system; adopts short cuts; and run
the show as long as others pass off; and think they know all; but such does
not know they know not group only. Another say is also there; why beat aa
dog aand then clear its s…t?)
10. Listen, nod, and most of all make eye contact.
KR Then forget and walk off ; the day is over.
11. Don't make fun of your friend in front of his kids.
KR Who is a kid by age or by mind?
12. Never let emotions overpower you.
KR Emotion itself is only because of its nature to over powered
you.
13. Never beg for a relationship.
KR Absolutely kid stuff advertised by G ; poor soul; even the kid
has become Quora learned?
14. Dress well no matter what the occasion.
KR Gandhi did not; even in Round table at London; so what?
15. Never kick a man when he is already down.
KR Few seconds before said: Never beg for relationship; now
contradiction? Problem of the compiler is NON-APPLICATION OF THE MIND AND
BLAMING AND MAKING FUN OF OTHERS, THINKING HE HAD DONE A YEOMAN SERVICE.
Q2 Are there any facts that are extremely scary to know?
KR My question is if you were Giant won’t you be afraid of? Gulliver
and Lilliput story?
Q4 In Hindu Mythology, we come across a belief that "Earth is resting
on Sheshnaag". Why has this been said in our Vedic texts?
KR A good original thinking on mythology Copied; and it is good
according to Mr G that all Ramayana, Mahabharatha, Vedam, Upanishads etc
can be written originally with the title as a learned of Quora; I AM SORRY
I LACK SUCH ABILITY. Hereafter all of you do not read such original or
extracted bit do read original version kept altered everyday by Mr G.
Now Seshan (Sankarshana) supporting is one version; bit it is the real
ASHTA THIK GAJANGAL SUPPORTING THE EARTH. NAGA IN SANSKRIT HAS TWO
MEANINGS; ONE SERPENT; 2 THE TRUBK OF ELEPHAANT OR ELEPHANT. EIGHT
ELEPHANTS DO SUPPORT.
Story of Aṣṭadiggajas and AṢṬADIKKARIṆĪS. There are eight male and eight
female elephants standing guard over the eight zones. They are:
Zone Male
Female
East Airāvata
Abhramu
South-east Puṇḍarīka Kapilā
South Vāmana Piṅgalā
South-west Kumuda Anupamā
West Añjana Tāmrakarṇī
North-west Puṣpadanta Śubhradantī
North Sārvabhauma Aṅganā
North-east Supratīka Añjanāvatī
(Amarakośa) Besides these, there are four diggajas (elephants of the
universe) who bear the earth standing below in the nether world. It is
stated that the sons of Sagara who went into the nether land in search of
the lost horse of his father saw these elephants. As they went to the east
they saw the huge elephant Virūpākṣa, holding the earth on its head. It is
said an earthquake occurs when for a change it shakes its head. Going to
the left of it they saw the elephant Mahāpadmasama holding the earth on its
head on the south. Going again to the left of it they saw Saumanasa holding
the earth on its head on the west and going to the left of it on the north
they saw Bhadra holding the earth on its head. (Vālmīki Rāmāyaṇa,
Bālakāṇḍa, Sarga 40).
And Greek mythology hold Hercules holding the earth
Q6 Why is studying so important in life?
KR THE GREAT QUACK STUFF WRITTEN ORIGINALLY AS ALAUGHING STOCK AND
CONCOCTIONS CONSIDERED THE GREAT LEARNED- GOPALAKRISHNAN Though the
compiler does not study and is not after any learning, stress learning is
good. So pl hear him sirs.

*Q2 Are there any facts that are extremely scary to know?*
*A2 Lindsay Elizabeth, Cynical idealist. Updated 5y*
*Aristotle thought we were the center of the universe, every star, every
planet was spinning around us.*
*Sometimes, as humans, we tend to overestimate our own importance, forever
caught up in how vast even our own planet seems.*
*The diameter of the sun is more than 100 times that of Earth.*
*Even in our own solar system, Earth makes up only 0.0003% of the total
mass. The total weight is equivalent to about 333,345.997 Earth masses.*
*Somewhere between 99.8 and 99.9 percent of the mass in our solar system is
our sun.*
*This is our sun compared to VY Canis Majoris, the second largest star, UY
Scuti being the largest known star. The sun is around one-2,000th smaller:
an 860,000-mile diameter compared to 1.8 billion miles.*
*Astronomers estimate that in the Milky Way alone, there are between 100
and 300 billion stars.*
*Our solar system is moving at 514,000 mph. We do not feel a thing. At this
speed, we have made 15 laps around the Milky Way since life on Earth
started.*
*Two galaxies were detected recently, with the help of infrared radiation.
In our own area, our own group, there could be entire galaxies that go
unnoticed by us, invisible.*
*Some of the larger clusters can contain hundreds of galaxies. The Virgo
Supercluster is one of these.*
*Spanning 110 million light years, it holds about a hundred galaxy
clusters, like our own local group.*
*Then there’s the Pisces-Cetus Supercluster Complex, comprised of about 60
superclusters of galaxies.*
*About 1.37 billion light years across, it holds around a tenth of the
observable universe.*
*93 billion light years across, and housing an estimated 10-billion
superclusters, this is the observable universe.*
*We are not even ants in the scheme of things. We are small, microscopic,
infinitesimal.*
*Analogies fail here; it is difficult to even attempt to wrap our heads
around how tiny our planet is.*
*We are impossibly small, impossibly trivial.Isn’t it scary?*
*Q3 What are some old people jokes that may not make sense but are
still funny?*
*A3 Charli1920,Lives in The United Kingdom (2023–present)10h*
*Here are a few classic "old people" jokes that play on stereotypes about
aging:*
*1. Why did the old man fall in the well?*
*Because he couldn't see that well!*
*2. Why do old people never get lost?*
*Because they've been there before!*
*3. Why did the old man put his money in the blender?*
*Because he wanted to make liquid assets!*
*4. Why did the old lady put wheels on her rocking chair?*
*Because she wanted to rock and roll!*
*5. Why did the old man only wear one sock to bed?*
*Because he heard you should always put your best foot forward!*
*Remember, these jokes are meant to be light-hearted and not to offend
anyone.*
*Q4 In Hindu Mythology, we come across a belief that "Earth is resting
on Sheshnaag". Why has this been said in our Vedic texts?*
*A4 Abhishek Singh,6h*
*I have a different view about it, there are thousands of volcanoes on
earth, and it's obvious that their ducts(from there lava comes out from
interior of earth) are all connected to a central reservoir of Lava.
Doesn't it remind you of description of Anant shesh. Anant shesh has
thousand hoods(like thousands volcanoes on earth) his hoods has ornaments
on its head( thats how volcanoes look from top view. Anant shesh has the
power to burn whole Earth with his Heat. So does all the volcanoes of all
of them erupt at same time. *
*So what I say is that All these Volcanoes are actually connected together
below the earth surface and that is Anant Shesh naag. And btw when a
Volcano erupt it's smoke looks exactly similar to Hood of a snake*
*Q5 can you tell a good blond joke?*
*A5 Rebecca C.10h*
*A blonde was cruising down the highway at breakneck speed when a cop
pulled her over. *
*A blonde was cruising down the highway at breakneck speed when a cop
pulled her over.*
* “May I see your license and registration, please?” asked the cop.*
*Miffed, the blonde said,*
*“I wish you guys would get your act together. Just yesterday you took away
my license. Now today you want me to show it to you!”*
*Q6 Why is studying so important in life?*
*A6 Hector Quintanilla, Founder at BeBusinessSmart.com
(2019–present)Updated 4y*
*About 4,000 years ago, someone accidentally first combined tin with
copper, producing bronze for the first time.*
*Bronze was the most revolutionary invention of the time. It quickly became
the key advantage in warfare.*
*With bronze, the Egyptian Pharaoh was unbeatable.*
*Let’s go back in history to answer your question:*
*Why is studying so important in life?*
*The only way to stop the Egyptian Army was with another Bronze equipped
army.*
*As other armies armed themselves with bronze weapons, the high demand of
tin and copper brought scarcity of the elements.*
*With the desperate need to defend themselves from others, innovation
eventually brought the Iron Age.*
*Forging iron became the most important skill of the era, but it wasn't
easy. To raise the metal to extreme temperatures, heat was only
accomplished by pushing air into charcoal.*
*This was a manufacturing secret!*
*For decades, iron was the key competitive advantage. Even the most
powerful Bronze Age armies stood no chance to win when confronted to
soldiers equipped with lighter and much stronger iron weapons.*
*These were the first disruptive technologies. Disruption brings massive
shifts in power. As a result empires rose and others fell.*
*Knowledge became the most valuable asset back in the Iron Age. New and
more powerful technologies were the key differentiators.*
*The more our world advances, the more critical knowledge becomes.*
*Today we are in the Digital Age. There are major shifts of power happening
in every industry around the world.*
*So, why is studying so important in life? This is how critical it is:*
*In the Agrarian Age, wealth originated from nature.*
*In the Industrial Age, wealth originated from machines.*
*In the Digital Age, wealth originates from information and knowledge.*
*I believe ignorance will be the #1 source for poverty in the decades to
come.*
*Q7 What is the funniest military-based joke you know?*
*A7 Rob Dee,45 years in Science18h*
*The soldiers are out on parade when the Captain gets a message that
Private Jones’ father has died. He tells the Sergeant Major to sensitively
inform Jones.*
*The Sergeant Major takes the parade then at the end shouts out “Oh, nearly
forgot, Jones your Dad's dead”*
*Poor Jones is in pieces and the Captain is horrified. “I thought I told
you to be sensitive Sergeant Major?!”*
* “Sorry Sir, I didn't think”*
*The next day they get a message that Jones’ mother has died.*
* “Now, Sergeant Major, can you show some sensitivity this time and break
it to Jones gently?”*
* “Yes Sir, will do” says the Sergeant Major. He walks out and takes the
parade. At the end he shouts up:*
* “All those soldiers who have at least one parent still alive take one
step forward…. Jones! Where the hell do you think you're going?!”*
