Q2         OneNaga Baba came to my house and blessed me. He gave me two
rudraksha and onekoral from the air. Can I wear it?

A2     Rajesh Kothari,Meditation Practitioner& Trainer for a long time. Mar 5

I wish toshare a real story.

Around 1990,I was in my office located on a second floor of a dilapidated
building locatedin the by lanes of the Fort area of Mumbai. And suddenly from
nowhere a NagaBaba appeared and asked for money.

My relativewas in the office. He asked Naga Baba to go away.

Naga Bababecame angry. He suddenly lifted his loin cloth and shouted saying I’m
a realNaga Baba. I noticed that a brass bell was hanging from his private part.
Myrelative got upset to see this happening.

Naga Babasaid to my relative that - you are a demon (rakshash). And he turned
to mesaying - you will reach God. Well, I was just thinking what to do. I just
keptquiet. Then I paid him some money and he went away.

What shouldI understand from this incident?

I don’tknow. I just noted it down in my daily diary. And life continued.

What I’mtrying to say is that there are all types of people around us and many
thingshappen. We can’t understand significance of it.

I have notasked my guru about it because I’m not curious. Even if they tell me
thesignificance it is not going to matter.

I know forsure that I’m on the right path and I have already started
experiencingpresence of God during my meditation practice. So, perhaps what he
said maycome true.

But, whetherwhat he said comes true or not, does it matter? No. That’s the
reason I havenot even mentioned about it to my gurus.

What I wouldsay is keep the rudraksh and other things with you. And move on
with life.

In long termsuch encounters don’t matter much. What you do matters in long
term. Had I notfound the gurus and done the meditation under their guidance I
would not havereached the state of consciousness I’m in currently.

Q3                 Whatwould an IQ of 500 or 1000 look like?

A3                 Josh Cheuvront, French Hornowner.9y

Believe itor not, it wouldn't be good. I had a friend long ago with an IQ
around 190. Shehad two siblings with around the same IQ. Both committed suicide
in their lateteens. She had all sorts of problems with depression.

Intelligenceis a double edged sword. Even though it can be an advantage in some
cases, onceyou reach a certain level, it tends to isolate people. We're social
creatureswhen it comes down to it. Whether we like it or not, much of our
happinesscomes from our relationships and interaction with other people. I
generally maxout around 145-150, and I would never want to be any "smarter"
thanthat. It comes in handy sometimes, but most of the time I have to
constantlykeep myself reined in when I'm not around close friends that really
understandme.

Q4         IfParshuram is the incarnation of Vishnu, then why didn't Parshuram
recognize Ramduring the breaking of the Shiva bow event?

A4          Bhanu Kiran,Admires the stories ofRamayana2y

Parashuramawas not the complete incarnation of Lord Vishnu. To be called as
god, oneshould possess the six qualities as given in Vishnu Puran as follows:-

The letter Bh implies the cherisher andsupporter of the universe. By ga is
understood the leader, impeller, orcreator. The dissyllable Bhaga indicates the
six properties, dominion, might, glory, splendour, wisdom, and dispassion. The
purport of the letter va is thatelemental spirit in which all beings exist, and
which exists in all beings. Andthus this great word Bhagavan is the name of
Vásudeva, who is one with thesupreme Brahma, and of no one else. [1]

Padma Puranatells us that only Narasimha, Rama and Krishna incarnations
possessed these sixqualities.

Thus thestate of the inner-controllership of self consists in his being the
innermostsoul. Matsya, Kūrma, Varāha, Narasiṃha,Vāmana, Rāma, Paraśurāma,
Kṛṣṇa,Buddha and Kalki are the ten Vibhavas (incarnations) of Brahman, the
highestsoul. The group of six qualities is said to exist in Nṛsiṃha,Rāma and
Kṛṣṇa.[2]

HenceParashurama could not recognize that Rama was an incarnation of Lord
Vishnu.

Q5         Whydo dogs not like snakes?

A5          Vadim Yakovlevich,Mar 20

No animallikes snakes. I’ve told this story before on Quora, but I was riding a
horse inthe Pantanal in Brazil with a group of people. The Pantanal is filled
withcaimans, small crocodiles. The horses had no issue with them, even when
theywere basking on the path that we were riding on they would just walk right
bythem.

Suddenly wesaw a yellow anaconda (yellow anacondas are about half the size of
the giganticgreen anacondas that everyone thinks of when they hear “anaconda”).
The horsesfreaked out. For the rest of the day they wouldn’t go anywhere near
water.Animals have an innate fear of snakes.
