போற்றப்படுகிறது. ராகத்தில் கௌரி மனோகரி அம்பாள் பெயரில் திகழ்வது. இதுபோல்
அம்பாள் குறித்த விசேஷ தகவல்களும் தலங்களும் உங்களுக்காக!
சிவமின்றி சக்தியில்லை; சக்தியின்றி சிவம் இல்லை’ என்பார்கள் பெரியோர்கள். இதை
உலகுக்கு உணர்த்தும் விதமாகவே, இறைவன் அர்த்தநாரீஸ்வர வடிவம் கொண்டார்.
சிவபெருமான், சிவ ஆகமங்களை முதன் முதலில் உபதேசித்தது உமையவளுக்கே! ஆக,
சிவனாருக்கு சிஷ்யையாகவும் ஆன்மாக்களுக்கு முதல் குருவாகவும் திகழ்கிறாள்
அம்பிகை என்கின்றன ஞானநூல்கள்.
பிரதோஷ காலத்தில், சிவாலயங்களில் உள்ள - அபிஷேக நீர் வழியும் கோமுகத்தை,
பார்வதிதேவியாக எண்ணி வழிபட வேண்டும் என்கின்றன பூஜா பத்ததி நூல்கள்.
சங்குகளில் உயர்ந்தது வலம்புரிச் சங்கு. இதை விட மேலானது மடிச்சங்கு. இவற்றில்
வலம்புரிச் சங்கு- திருமகள் அம்சமாகவும், மடிச்சங்கு பார்வதிதேவி அம்சமாகவும்
போற்றப்படுகிறது. இசையில் சிவ பெருமான் பெயரால் வழங்கப்படும் ராகம்-
சங்கராபரணம் என்பதை அறிவோம். அதேபோல், கௌரியின் பெயரால் வழங்கப்படும் ராகம்-
கௌரி மனோகரி.
இவை, அம்பாளை மகிமைப்படுத்தும் விசேஷ அம்சங்கள். இதேபோல், அவளின்
மகத்துவத்துடன் அருளும் அபூர்வ தலங்களும் உண்டு.
லிங்கத்தில் தோன்றும் அம்பிகை!
விழுப்புரம் மாவட்டம், கள்ளக்குறிச்சி- திருக் கோவிலூர் தடத்தில் உள்ளது
ரிஷிவந்தியம். இங்குள்ள அர்த்தநாரீஸ்வரர் ஆலயத்தின் கருவறையில் அருள்
பாலிக்கும் லிங்க மூர்த்தத்துக்கு ஒரு சிறப்பம்சம் உண்டு. இந்த லிங்கத்துக்குத்
தேனபிஷேகம் செய்யும்போது, பாணப் பகுதியில் அம்பிகையின் நிழல் உருவம் தோன்றும்.
இந்த ஆலயம், தேவேந்திரனால் அமைக்கப்பட்டதாம்!
தழுவிய மகாதேவர் கோயில்!
நாகர்கோவிலின் ஒரு பகுதியாக விளங்கும் வடசேரியில் அமைந்துள்ளது `தழுவிய
மகாதேவர் ஆலயம்'. இந்தத் தலத்தில் பார்வதிதேவி, ‘ஆவுடையம்மை’ என்ற பெயரில்
தோன்றி வளர்ந்து வந்தாள். இவள், அனுதினமும் கோயிலுக்குச் சென்று ஈசனை வழிபடுவது
வழக்கம். ஆனால் பூப்பெய்திய பிறகு, முன்பு போல் ஆலயத்துக்கு வர இயலவில்லை. எனவே,
விரைவில் தன்னை ஏற்குமாறு இறைவனிடம் பிரார்த்தித்தாள். ஒரு நாள் லிங்கத்தில்
இருந்து தோன்றிய பெருமான், தேவியை தழுவியபடி அதே லிங்கத்தில் ஐக்கியமானார்.
எனவே இவருக்கு, ‘தழுவிய மகாதேவர்’ என்று திருப்பெயர்!
கோவை மாவட்டம் பொள்ளாச்சியை அடுத்துள்ள ‘களந்தை’ எனும் தலத்தில்,
மூலஸ்தானத்தில் அருள் புரியும் அம்பிகை, பசுவுடன் காட்சி தருவது விசேஷம்.
ஆந்திர மாநிலத்தில் உள்ள சுருட்டபள்ளி திருக்கோயில் பிராகாரத்திலும், இதே
கோலத்தில் உள்ள அம்பிகையைத் தரிசிக்கலாம். வேறெங்கும் காண்பதற்கரிய தரிசனம் இது

ஊசி முனையில் நின்று அம்பாள் செய்த தவம்!
அம்பிகை, பஞ்சாக்னியில் நடுவில்- ஊசிமுனையில், ஒற்றைக்கால் கட்டைவிரலை ஊன்றிக்
கடுந்தவம் செய்த திருத்தலங்கள் காஞ்சிபுரம் மற்றும் மாங்காடு.
திருநெல்வேலியில் நேரில் தோன்றிய அம்பிகை!
மீனாட்சியம்மைப் பிள்ளைத் தமிழை குமரகுருபரர் பாடி அருளியபோது, அன்னை
மீனாட்சியே சிறுமி வடிவில் வந்து முத்துமாலை பரிசளித்த திருக்கதையை அறிவோம்.
இதேபோல், நெல்லையிலும் ஓர் அருள் சம்பவம் நிகழ்ந்தது. நெல்லை - காந்திமதியம்மை
தன் கனவில் வந்து, ‘ஶ்ரீநெல்லையப்பர் ஆலய வரலாற்றைப் பாடுக!’ என்று
ஆணையிட்டதற்கிணங்க, திருநெல்வேலி தல புராணத்தை இயற்றினாராம் நெல்லையப்ப
கவிராயர். இந்த நூல் அரங்கேற்றம் செய்யப்பட்ட போது, காந்திமதியம்மையே நேரில்
வந்து கேட்டு மகிழ்ந்தாளாம்!

Rishivanthiyam is located on Kallakurichi-Thiruk Kovilur route,
Villupuram district. Arul Balikum linga murtha in sanctum sanctorum of
Arthanareeswarar temple here has a special feature. When you offer honey
anointing to this lingam, the silhouette of Ambigai appears in the pana
area. This temple was built by Devendra! Embraced Mahadeva Temple!
``Thavuya Mahadeva Temple'' is located in Vadaseri which is a part of
Nagercovil.
Goddess Parvati appeared and grew up in this place under the name
of 'Aavudayammai'. She used to go to the temple every day and worship
Eason. But after the blossoming, he could not come to the temple as before.
So, she prayed to the Lord to accept her soon. One day the Lord emerged
from the lingam and embraced the goddess and united with the same lingam.
Hence, he is nicknamed 'Thavuya Mahadeva'!
At a place called 'Kalanta' near Pollachi, Coimbatore district,
it is special to see Ambikai, who graces the Moolasthan, with a cow. At the
Suruthapalli Temple Prakaram in Andhra State, Ambikai can be visited in the
same kolam. This is a sight to be seen nowhere else. Ambal penance by

Mother Meenakshi herself appearing in the form of a girl and gifting her
with pearls when Kumaragurupara sang Meenakshiyammai Pillai Tamil.
Similarly, a grace incident happened in Nellai too. Nellai - Nellaiappa
Kavirayar composed the Tirunelveli Thala Purana as Gandhimatiamma came to
him in his dream and commanded him to 'Sing the history of Sri Nellaiyappar
