If this trend holds, it is a sad reflection as we seem to vote for corruption and on caste lines, ignoring the huge progress on infrastructure, defense etc. Doles seem to carry the day. Lower voter turnout and the apathy of the middle class seem to have contributed to the present trend. Nitish and Naidu won't hesitate to switch, if their demands are met. I still hope and pray BJP will at least get absolute majority on its own.
