CULTURAL QA 06202413

TOPIC- EPIC. BASE – QUORA QA (Compilation)

Q1 Can you tell a moral story told by lord Krishna to Rukmini?

G My note- I request members to consider the incident told as a
motivational one later added, than telling it is not in the Gita press
book. Who knows how many additions are there in Gita press print, from what
is told by Vedavyasa?

KR Before going to question I was surprised at G’s writing kike DMK
member. In that case please don’t be a brahmin at all and why should you
adopt Bharatham Ramayanam etc; fun? First of all, there is nothing as you
wrote added in the original Mahabharatham. It is Quora addition only. So
fundamentally there is a fabrication floated all around intentionally under
the cloak and dagger of motivation. As a brahmin, older, responsible
citizen of India, should care more for the surroundings and the posterity.
ADDED means rendering a dubious remark like intentionally inserted to
thwart its goodness; if so, he has no right to support it; and if inserted
in good faith, we’ll all Hindu scriptures were only added and added only
right from Rig vedam; It was not heard and rendered by those named Rishis
on the same day; Rishis age itself will speak about. So also, Mahabharatham
started at 8400 and ended at 100000 with good feed and with good
intentions; many verses were placed in that. So, can Mr G add this into and
say WHO KNOWS and WALK OFF? He cabs create out of the real some fiction and
call it as his imagination that is creativity; but not as Moral story added
by whom and where is it in the original Mahabharatham sir?

BG 11.1: Arjun said: Having heard the supremely confidential spiritual
knowledge, which You have revealed out of compassion for me, my illusion is
now dispelled.

(II) BG 11.2: I have heard from You in detail about the appearance and
disappearance of all living beings, O Lotus-eyed One, and also about Your
eternal magnificence.

(III) BG 11.3: O Supreme Lord, You are precisely what You declare
yourself to be. Now I desire to see Your divine cosmic form, O Greatest of
persons.

BG 11.26-27: I see all the sons of Dhritarashtra, along with their allied
kings, including Bheeshma, Dronacharya, Karn, and also the generals from
our side, rushing headlong into Your fearsome mouths. I see some with their
heads smashed between Your terrible teeth.

It goes further; and HE answered the whole world already before the war
itself who were dead already; That is the end. Ano if you fabricate your
own story well you have all the rights but do not mix it as moral, Pep etc
in this line sir Thank you K Rajaram IRS 13624

Q2 Is it correct that when Rama’s time of death was at hand,
Hanuman barred Yama (the god of death) from claiming him?

KR Again one more fabrication insinuated here which is not found in
Valmiki Ramayanam; either he can say it is fabricated and or it is in
Ramayanam written by so and so AVIVEKAM leads to the mistaken identity

Q3 What is the relationship between Satyabhama and Draupadi in
Mahabharat?

Satyabhama and Draupadi were friends according to Mahabharata. Infact,
Satyabhama is the only wife of Lord Krishna who directly interacts with
Draupadi in the epic.

Satyabhama and Krishna visits Draupadi and Pandavas in the forest -

    477(180), Markandeya Samasya parva, Mahabharata.

2. Satyabhama and Draupadi friendly interaction -

 519(222), Draupadi Satyabhama Samvada, Mahabharata.

3. Satyabhama, Draupadi, Krishna and Arjuna had a special palace for
themselves in which no one else could enter -

721(58), Yana Sandhi Parva, Mahabharata.

4. If You go by the Southern recession, Satyabhama was with Krishna,
Draupadi and Arjuna during their leisure at Yamuna bank -

O great king, the beautiful Satyabhāmā, who was always devoted to Vasudeva,
Draupadi and Subhadrā, all of whom were intoxicated with pride, gave away
to the women garments and ornaments.

Adhyaya 248, Adi parva, Mahabharata ( Southern recession).

-------------------------------------------------------------

KR If at all someone writes about an issue, that issue must be
projected; to tell us they are friends and four of them were friends few
lines are written? By quoting some numbers unaware of what is says, and
adding a Sanskrit verse, without knowing what does it means, in what way it
is connected to King and why they were intoxicated? (happiness or drunk?) ;
Draupati spoke with many including Gandhari, So without reading the
material and posting only is called copy and paste;

2 Mahabharatham has many recensions; Southern Recension is called
Kumbakonam edition; in that arrangements will be totally varying from
another edition called “critical edition of Puna”; and Ganguly edition and
critical edition will be running a little ahead or receding back; but SR
will be totally different even in volume.

3 The Satyabhama, Draupadi conversation does not speak about their
friendship; but it is a Q and A about women, culture, freedom, marrying 5
husbands and asking about its ‘virtue so on so forth. As a matter of fact,
they converse or rather Draupadi exposes her knowledge of how to be
attractive with the husband. The southern recension has this chapter in ADI
PARVA BOOK 1; CRITICAL EDITION AND GANGULY HAVE I IN VANA PARVA 3RD BOOK;
BUT critical edition HAS AS CHAP 231 AND 232 WHEREAS Ganguly has it as
232,233,234 chapters. That Sanskrit verse you wrote as C P does not say
they were intoxicated, but after several matters discussed, they give to
their friends and servants jewels being queens. And Vaisampayana speaks
about it I shall give you the content of conversations TOMORROW which is
meaningful depicting advises to the married women through Draupadi telling
Bhama. KR IRS 13624

Q5 What was Krishna's order obeyed by an atheist?

KR        Again act of immorality as on top it is mentioned as EPIC Base;
but it is a caricature of someone which should have been mentioned as a
story told and not as retold from the EPIC.
