A good article and those who have good memories are -ONLY GOOD- where they wish to hold and where it does not bother them those areas are out of focus. Majority always follow 100% of the latter type, viz let go or uninterested; so memories are poor. Memories are only storage. Unless the CURIOCITY existed to enquire PROPERLY ,storage will fail. and immediately after the storage, by writing it elsewhere, it is CALLED BACK; so memories are entrenched. And already the idea is CONCRETE IN MIND. And when the thinking process starts on any subject, the association of thoughts wrt the storage, becomes the CHUNKING one. I used to read as if a song which I knew substituted the read words to that tune; and the memorisation is over; orelse I wont be able to recall the thirukkural read during 1957-62 now; and every musical tune will recall the lessons in order. That is why all upanyasakas sing the story and verses. Where there are points as 4cs, here, I would make it a word and the moment that word flashes, I will be able to expand the points so easily. And I differ about the content limitation described in the article; Brain is such a hard disk , it is different from the machine one as trillions of information are stored and restored.
