This is from SBI; like this, all would have received such emails. Now
what is it?
Few days back may be on 10th Sept if I am right as it
happened to me on 9th SEPT for the first time by call; a madras HC lady
Judge received a call and her PA reported it to cyber crime.
On 9th Sept, around noon , when I am trying to evade my Jet
lag, a call from Mumbai; that said, "we were trying to contact you
from SBI card ; we could not get you; call xxxxxx xxxxx number and
immediately explain your conduct". I dialled and a male person answered"
you purchased in your card for Rs 1,00,000 and did not pay; we have stuck
notice in your premises; and if you don't pay within 24 hrs you will be
arrested"
I asked, I have several homes; in which house you affixed notice?
Myself.
He was caught; he said in my Bandra home.
My reply was," OK send the police to arrest me
He started shouting and said he will transfer
the call to floor manager. {Floor?}
Another grinded the same story and said may have to pay 1,20,000
with addl charges; and said send the Police.

on 10th A 97xxxxx xxxxx number speaking from TRAI. My cell phone will be
deactivated as the phone was used for illegal purposes . I said Go ahead.

Every day a call around noon and a call around 3 PM and I do not
attend.

In the last 6 months Fedex emails are recd that 2 parcels are not cleared
and the amount payable so far crossed 5 lakhs; more action will be
initiated etc.

And I called the DIG cyber crime and regd a complaint online also. But
catching them is not going to be that easy. None are from Indian soil. But
we have to be cautious. Check carefully every transaction. Even if you are
going to be arrested, really face it instead of succumbing to pressure.
Cheaters are all over; do not talk loud anywhere; do not sign courier
perfectly and write ur cell number; if he objects, speed writing spell
99253 xxxxxxsome number every time. Courier is the main route seller of
your phone number. Keep a petty cash bank account with less money; internal
transfer is not known; if that data comes out, there is an informanyt at
your branch; do the needful. For local purchase direct use least Dr and Cr
cards and not high valued ones. Keep changing the online and bank
passwords with critical deployments of numbers and capitals and symbols
complicated. keep those data under lock and key and don't leave the
computer open and password papers open. Register online cyber crimes. Talk
carefully with lower rank police as many are unreliable. Less words and
