-- *Mar*Time Travel
I read long back that the Universe expands for 41 billion years and contracts for 41 billion years, the expansion and contraction being repetitive. I read an article by Asimov that when the Universe contracts, an old man suddenly sprouts up from the soil, grows younger by the day, becomes the baby and then vanishes into his mother’s womb where from a nine month old, ready to be born, returns into eight month old, then seven month old, till he goes back as part of nature into nature which itself is contracting. The mother of course is doing the same thing, going back into her own mother’s womb. We oldies can certainly daydream, that the return to the younger days return, provided we can wait for 41 billion years. But we have to wait, as the present expansion phase itself is only for 12 billion years and we have to wait for 41+29 billion years, 70 billion years. But I do not have patience to wait for 70 billion years to return to the 20 year youthhood, which for me was plagued by the University examinations, the university which damned me with a low marks sheet, the marks sheet which functioned as a red hot iron applied on me for life. My marks sheet is confidential information. But there is one opportunity, ignoring your calendar age, you can fantasize that you are just 20 years old and sing and dance by means of self hypnosis where you believe that you are 20 year old and condition your hormones into that belief. Fantasies can be made into realities by determined training of our hormones. May be, the lost body mass returns with the lost cells returning, and doing the young age by regular physical exercise, mental conditioning and self hypnosis. The best method of doing time travel is by singing and dancing in free, healthy and happy nature, where there is no economic, industrial and urban tampering. We need the free and healthy nature, which certainly enables us to fantasize and then convert the fantasy into reality via hormonal conditioning. When the seven octillion cells in you are thus hormonally conditioned, you can do your time travel. As it is the reverse time travel, galloping into the old age disabilities is happening as we are poisoning the land, water and air and calling it the great economic and scientific progress. We no longer partner with nature but disease it with our economics and politics which mean doing wars. Teaming up with nature means, emotionally teaming up with the other organisms of the biosphere and achieving the collective hormonal symbiosis among all of them together, converting the Biosphere into one young organism. The Biosphere then develops common consciousness, and we certainly bask in young age. Free and healthy nature certainly means our return to young age as the health of the Biosphere makes us also healthy and young. You and I can do time travel by helping nature and in freeing the world from economics. Economics with its technology today is murdering nature and as you are a component of nature, murdering you. We need free nature without human tampering urgently. The Universities at least can start the Free Nature Faculties, which help the other faculties get free from the shackles of mechanization. YM Sarma Chat GPT The essay titled *"Time Travel"* offers an imaginative exploration of the idea of reverse time travel, rooted in both speculative fiction and reflections on the relationship between humanity and nature. The author reflects on personal experiences while drawing connections between aging, hormonal conditioning, and the possibility of rejuvenation. Here are the main themes discussed: ### 1. **Cosmic Time Cycles**: The essay begins by referencing an old concept of the universe expanding and contracting in cycles of 41 billion years each. In this cyclical view, when the universe contracts, everything, including people, reverts to an earlier state, an idea borrowed from Isaac Asimov's speculative writing. ### 2. **Fantasized Time Travel**: The author humorously reflects on the desire to avoid waiting 70 billion years to return to youth. They suggest that one can achieve a form of time travel through self-hypnosis, conditioning the body and hormones to feel younger. Singing, dancing, and positive thinking, in harmony with nature, are proposed as ways to slow or even reverse the aging process by harnessing the power of the mind and body. ### 3. **Teaming Up with Nature**: The essay emphasizes a deep connection with nature, arguing that modern economic and technological advancements alienate humans from their natural roots. It suggests that being in harmony with nature could not only rejuvenate individuals but also the entire biosphere. The idea is that by emotionally and hormonally synchronizing with nature, one could achieve a collective symbiosis and shared consciousness with all life forms, making both the individual and the biosphere healthier and "younger." ### 4. **Critique of Modern Life**: There is a critique of how modern society, driven by economics and industrialization, is destroying nature, thus accelerating aging and disintegration. The author sees this detachment from nature as a metaphorical form of "reverse time travel" into old age and decay. ### 5. **Call for Action**: The author calls for the creation of "Free Nature Faculties" in universities, which would allow people to reconnect emotionally and physically with nature, liberating them from the mechanization and commercialization that dominates modern life. They advocate for a return to unspoiled nature as a pathway to rejuvenation and well-being. ### Conclusion: The essay blends humor, speculative fiction, and personal reflection to explore the concept of time travel not in the traditional sense but through a reconnection with nature and a holistic lifestyle. It challenges modern technology and economic systems, advocating for a symbiotic relationship with the biosphere to restore both human health and the health of the planet. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Thatha_Patty" group.
