Dear all
I found a response by Mr Gopalakrishnan, having no head or tail, or
containing any sensible matter.
I thought he has a little brain to understand but being always
foolish ,he writes only as an aviveki; orelse he would have understood how
he shall write even if there are contradictions; not so authoritatively
without reading the text and system of life described in the epics. One who
cannot distinguish between a Legend and ITIOHASa and PURANA (having not
read anything but posing as if knew a lot and doing only just copy and
paste, may not know what he was writing. Before attending Ramayanam , let
me drive the nail into his head. Today at Dallas (many USA places) my
friend is living on the opposite side, 12 homes in a straight line away,
which if we walk across the homes gaps will take just 5 minutes to reach;
but it is illegal in USA; so had to take the road all around which a car
takes 10 minutes and by walk may be 45 minutes. Samje? Thus, a day travel
differs on so many factors between eras which he himself would know who
lives in an area which were barren once and now active and walking across ,
could have been lost. 2 A horse arabic-like robust can travel at 25 miles
per hour (not today's horses home trained) and in a day can do 100 to 150
miles so easily. Though uttara kanda is named as that of Valmiki as Lava
kusa sang the whole verses, still Valmiki said he is finishing the Ramayana
at the last chap of Yudha kanda, the 131st chap he is done with. A chariot
is made up of a minimum 4 horses and not english carriages. A chariot can
do the whole day and night with rest rarely. And can run >250 miles
white horse power. Even assuming uttara kanda is by valmiki, from that
kanda facts gatherers are as under which had he read a learned, would have
got it so easily. And his doubtful Thomas woke up only because of his
seetha temple at Wayanad. And without app[lication of the mind wrote
nonsense. Now facts:
Back in Ayodhya, Rama decided to perform an Ashwamedha yagna. The
meandering horse reached Valmiki’s ashrama on the banks of River Ganga,
while he was attending Rama’s Ashwamedha ceremony. Kusha and Lava defeated
many stalwarts like Bharata’s son Pushkala, Seeta’s brother Lakshmi Nidhi,
Shatrughna, Hanuman, and Sugriva. The humbled warriors returned to the site
of the yagna with the horse. When Rama heard about the astonishing events
at Valmiki’s ashrama, he went to meet the sage. Valmiki disclosed that the
talented twins are his sons, and wanted Rama to accept Seeta and his 2 sons.
Rama requested Lakshmana to get Seeta and his 2 sons. Even though
Lakshmana stated that Rama now longs for her company, Seeta refused to join
him but sent her reluctant sons. Rama was heartbroken to hear about Seeta’s
decision but resent Lakshmana. Meanwhile, Valmiki told Kusha and Lava to
sing all the shlokam they have memorized from the 6 books of his
composition of Ramayana. On hearing it, Rama, like many others, shed tears
of joy. Rama embraced them firmly to his body. Meanwhile, Seeta agreed to
meet Rama. At the yagna location, in the presence of other illustrious
sages, Valmiki declared that from the powers of his tapasya (austerities)
of thousands of years, he can say with confidence that Seeta is pati-vrata
(chaste). Rama admitted he knows that but the public scandal forced him to
take that decision. Seeta prayed to Bhoomidevi (Goddess Earth) to receive
her if she is pure. An extravagant throne emerged from the ground and Seeta
willingly descended into Mother Earth’s lap. This is believed to be at the
present-day Seeta samahit-sthal between Varanasi and Prayagraj in Uttar
Pradesh state. There was a continued shower of flowers from the sky.
Rishi Valmiki’s other ashrama-s were in present-day:
Lahore
Ram Tirith near Amritsar in Punjab state
Dhamtan (Dharmasthan) near Narwana in Haryana state
Seetamata Wildlife Sanctuary in Rajasthan state
Near Koteshwar Mahadev temple in Ambaji in Gujarat state
Chitrakoota in Madhya Pradesh state
Bithoor on the banks of River Ganga in Uttar Pradesh state. The Ashram of
Valmiki was in Brahmvarta, which is located in Bithoor. It is believed that
Sita spent time at the Valmiki Ashram after being exiled by Lord Ram.
Bithoor is believed to be the birthplace of the sons of Lord Rama, Luv and
Kush.
Baleni village on the banks of River Hindon near Meerut city in Uttar
Pradesh state
Valmiki Nagar on the Bihar state border with Nepal
Deosal Shiva temple in Morigaon district of Assam state
Tapoban Valmiki Ashram in Nayagram in Jhargram district of West Bengal
state. There is a Rameshwar Shiva temple nearby
Tapovan Hill near Vaidyanath jyotirlinga temple in Deoghar in Jharkhand
state
Valmiki ashram in Koraput district of Odisha state where Valmiki language
is spoken even today
Turturiya in Chhattisgarh state
Valmiki caves and its Shivalinga at Boyavandlapalle village near Peapully of
Andhra Pradesh state. It has many rock formations like Nandi, elephants,
and Rudraksha
Aavani village near Mulbagal in Kolar district of Karnataka state
Pulpally in Wayanad district of Kerala state
Thiruvanmiyur in Chennai in Tamil Nadu state
Valmiki’s siddhar Jeevan samadhi at the Ettukudi Murugan temple near
Nagapattinam in Tamil Nadu state
Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Valmiki ashram in chao 1 to 6 kandas are many; apart from this so many
valmiki ashrams are all around the country which means they arose out of
bhakti and not duplicating or proving wrong Valmiki. Thus as per Uttara
kanda chariot dropped seetha at Valmiki ashram along the side of Ganga
river which is found to be today's Bithoor a distance today by road 150
miles only from Ayodhya. ,in the eastern direction from ayodhya . There
could even be a forest area to go across cutting down many miles; also a
chariot with 4 horses could make it even by night; and in that uttara kanda
Rama tells Lakshman to take her by night and never was written drop by
night itself. So Mr Gopala read well before writing so derogatorily. If
still you are not convinced then something is wrong with you only.
