😀😄😆🤣😊😇🙃😛😌 “Don’t underestimate elders” 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎 A 70-year-old elderly man was sitting inside a railway compartment. There was no crowd. As the train was about to start, ten youngsters entered the same compartment. The train moved, and as expected, the youngsters began joking, laughing, and playing around. One of them said, “Shall we pull the emergency chain?” Another pointed at the notice board which read: “Pulling the chain – Fine ₹500.” He said, “Keep quiet, don’t do it.” Another youngster said, “We are ten people here… if everyone contributes a little money, we can easily pay the fine.” Immediately, they began collecting money. After counting, they had: Three ₹200 notes Six ₹100 notes Two ₹50 notes Altogether, ₹1,300. They handed the money to the boy who first gave the idea, and he kept it in his pocket. Then one of them said, “Now let’s pull the chain! If anyone asks, we’ll just blame that old man sitting there. He will have to pay the fine, and we will save our money.” Hearing this, the elderly man became nervous and said in fear: “Oh no, don’t drag me into your mischief!” But would youthful ears listen? One boy pulled the chain, and the running train screeched to a halt. The TTE and police arrived and asked: “Who pulled the chain?” All ten youngsters pointed to the elderly man and said in one voice: "That old man! We told him not to, but he didn’t listen and pulled it.” The police officer looked at the old man and asked: “Why did you do this?” The elderly man calmly replied: “Sir, I had three ₹200 notes, six ₹100 notes, and two ₹50 notes – total ₹1,300. These youngsters snatched it from me. That is why, I pulled the chain. The money is in that boy’s pocket.” The constable immediately checked the boy’s pocket and found exactly ₹1,300, just as the elderly man had said. Scolding them, the police returned the money to the elderly man and dragged the boys away. While being taken, the youngsters glared at the elderly man like monkeys trapped in a net. The elderly man, now richer by ₹1,300, felt fireworks of joy bursting inside. 🎆The smiled to himself and said: “So… now do you understand why my hair has turned white?” Moral: Never underestimate anyone just by their looks or age. No one can truly read what’s in another person’s mind. Experience and wisdom will always outsmart mischief. 🙏🙏🙏 Yahoo Mail: Search, Organize, Conquer <https://mail.onelink.me/107872968?pid=nativeplacement&c=US_Acquisition_YMktg_315_SearchOrgConquer_EmailSignature&af_sub1=Acquisition&af_sub2=US_YMktg&af_sub3=&af_sub4=100002039&af_sub5=C01_Email_Static_&af_ios_store_cpp=0c38e4b0-a27e-40f9-a211-f4e2de32ab91&af_android_url=https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.yahoo.mobile.client.android.mail&listing=search_organize_conquer> -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Thatha_Patty" group.
