Will we continue to mouth these platitudes if we are personally affected? For example, if our daughter marries a Christian, will we say Everybody is only Atman so we don't object? Double standards to justify our collective inaction, myself included. Later, he built four walls and a roof, only to find darkness. To overcome it, he lit a lamp—but beneath the lamp, darkness remained. He lit more lamps, yet each left its shadow.
