Thanks Sri S N A and Sri Mani. Sri SNA, Sorry for this long sob story. May be I will compensate with my silence in the future, unless I get something which needs to be shared. But I will fwd you more of those messages which you may want to circulate, to awaken people from their deep slumber or indifference. We can still try. My conscience will be clear that I shared those messages with at least one or two. I did not fwd quite a few messages in the last fortnight or so, as nobody seems to be interested to read what they perceive to be negative news. No one likes bad news but it is like pretending that cancer will go away if we ignore. Or more generally, we say All will go well because Eswara will take care of us - to justify our inaction. If that were to be so, we would not have had our invasions, destruction of temples, countless atrocities on our women ( including the Mopla Massacre which M.K Gandhi justified as " their religious belief, so we should WILLINGLY submit to it"). Of course there are so many who still rever him although they will skip direct answers if we point out specific utterances of his against Hinduism. If we go on turning the other cheek always, as advocated by him, we will get hit on other places of our body also. (In a lighter vein, I will turn the other cheek only when I get a kiss on one). These fellows forget that Krishna asked Arjuna to FIGHT, and not to sit and meditate so He, Krishna, will take care. As He said in the B G, let us do our duty and then surrender to Him for His decisions. But we outsource our functions to Him and call it Bakthi. It is pure escapism. I ask these fellows, will they, for example, ask their children not to study but just leave it to Him to see them thru? We adopt double standards in all walks of our lives and pretend we are Bhakthas. Starting from getting a recommendation letter to get a quick Darshan at Tiruparhi ( while thousands will babies wait in the queue) we are a totally corrupt society sir. We use or misuse our positions, past and present, and use our old boys network so shamelessly to jump the queue, wherever we want to and can. I feel guilty even to buy the official 500 Rupee tickets to have quick Darshan but tell my conscience that it is officially sold by the TTD and so whoever can afford, can buy and thank Him that he has blessed me to be able to buy. It is some consolation that this money collected from millions, is used to improve the system and to provide for free food etc. I used to get a few mails in my private mail address but they have become a trickle now, leaving me with the conclusion I am only wasting their as well as my time by sending those fwds and my comments. The reason why I forwarded those was because nowhere in the main media you will read these, though some appear in OpIndia web site. I don't think many visit their site, much less help them financially. I contribute to those sites, although they may be a drop in the Ocean. While we ought to know our glorious past, Vedas, history, great personalities etc, we should remember all those will come to naught if our present and future are being destroyed, mostly subtly but also openly. Even with so much information available, we Hindus call Teresa Mother Teresa although she converted everyone, not to speak of other things she did which are in limited circulation. But contrast this with what Mata Amirdanandamaye abour whom nobody bothers to talk about - like the 600 bed hospital which gives free treatment etc. Somehow we have developed a taste to lick the feet of the invaders, those who convert Hindus etc. We will call Akexander - the Great but won't talk about the exploits of Karikal, Rajaraja and Rajendra Chozhas, Chandra and Samudra Gupta and their like. We will hail only what deliberately distorted history taught us but won't want to know about our valiant heroes of the past. Let the country go to hell, who cares. Kerala is a gone case, T N is in the grips of the conversion mafia ( Joseph Vijay said a few years ago he is a devout Christian and spreading Jesus' message is his sacred duty etc), Karnataka bans saffron scarfs but encourages hijabs, wearing cross, Telengana is partly outsourced to the jihadi crowd ( so much so AIMIM founder's brother openly says If the police is in the barracks just for 15 minutes he will show Hindus their place etc). Thankfully, mercifully, West Bengal has been saved from the brink and hopefully will return from the abyss it was about to fall into. Kashmir is no longer in anyone's map except that of the security forces so we can pretend everything is honky dory, until another attack on the Hindus takes place, but why should we care.
