Hello, I have a similar problem with you. I suggest you for using python version 3 and upgrading Theano version == 1.0.0 or higher. I have solved the problem. Sandbox is previous for GPU backend and now, replace with gpuarray as a backend I use GPU - GTX 980 Python 3.4 Herewith the .theanorc setting
