At last month's E3 convention we _got a good, up-close and personal look at
Sims 2: Nightlife_ (http://pc.gamespy.com/pc/sims-2-nightlife/616286p1.html) ,
and this past week EA stoked the fires even higher with some more images
from the game.

Along with 125 new objects, the expansion has a whole range of new social
situations, including a dating mini-mode (see below). Now, don't get too wild
on the dance floor. As we mentioned in our _earlier preview_
(http://pc.gamespy.com/pc/sims-2-nightlife/616286p1.html) , public displays of
affection don't
sit well with certain prudish Sims and they might take matters into their
own hands. Check it:

Sims will be able to drive cars in the new expansion, but so far all we've
seen is this swanky sportscar. (See it _in yellow_
(http://media.pc.gamespy.com/media/739/739565/img_2786155.html) as well.) Dig
the biohazard rims, yo.

The game allows you to grope each other on the dance floor, but Sims like
crotchety old Mrs. Crumplebottom won't appreciate it. When she smacks you with
her purse, white clouds of smoke fly up, supporting my assumption that it's
loaded with cement.

When you kick off a date with another Sim, you get what's almost a little
mini-game. Note the meter in the upper right-hand corner displaying how well
the date is going. We can only presume the needle would be higher in the green
if he was wearing a better suit. Shake it baby!

We'll have more updates in the weeks to come. Expect Sims 2: Nightlife to
bust a move this fall.
