Some people just dont wanna let go

My mom and her friend Kathy were really good friends with a woman who killed
herself and her baby. She built a huge house, it was so beautiful. But I
think the reason she killed herself and her baby was because her husband was
cheating on her. So anyway, after that happened my mom and Kathy would go over
there about once or twice a week because the woman's son was trying to sell
it. Well, the son wouldn't even go in the house because it scared him so much.
He, my mom and Kathy said that as soon as you walked in the door you just
felt a big temperature drop and chills went running down your spine. The
realtor
was even scared to go in. My mom and Kathy got her to finally go in and they
all went to the basement to look around. All of a sudden a black cat jumped
down from the rafters. My mom said she almost pissed her pants. I probably
would've done the same thing. That freaked them out alot so they went upstairs
to her bedroom. Everyone who had moved in had not lasted for more than a
month and you would think that they would change the curtains in her room, but
every time my mom and the rest of them went there after another family left,
the curtains were the same; they were dry rotted, moldy and all torn and
things like that. I know that any family who had children would've changed
those,
but they kept coming back. At the pool area there were floats and all kinds
of kids' toys just left there because they were too busy getting away from
that place. Well, one night we all went to go look at the house and no one was
living there (I guess the rumors had spread). When we were driving by, all the
lights were off Then as we drove around to the back we saw a light on ... it
was her bedroom light. My guess is that some people just dont wanna let go.

But as of today, there are people living there for a few months now and all
the paranormal activities have stopped. So maybe she decided that it was time
to move on and accept her fate or whatever it is she has in store for her.
