what it's like to be the bad man...Behind blue eyes...The lyrics really define
Lestat; sometimes good, sometimes bad, a fiery temper, and usually
misunderstood. But, The Brat Prince is always a treat for the eyes! Those
gorgeous blue eyes and that cute little overbite...His smile is unforgettable!
I was shocked when I heard that Tom Cruise had been cast as Lestat. His height
(Cruise is short) and his coloring (black hair and a dark complexion) were very
wrong for Lestat who is described by Anne Rice as tall and fair. Cruise
actually looked exceptionally handsome with blond, wavy hair! Brad Pitt was the
absolute best choice for the role of Louis du Pointe du Lac. He does the Emo
thing very, very well and always appears sad and emotional. Pitt and Cruise
worked out perfectly. It was as though their characters, Louis and Lestat, were
created for them alone! Add Armand (Antonio Banderas) and we have the perfect
lover's triangle. Add Claudia to the mix and sparks fly! I don't think I'll
ever tire of watching this film. It NEVER get's old. More than I can say about
the Twilight Films featuring sparkly, somber-faced and unhappy teens with very
bad hair! Vampires and Werewolves just DON'T mix!
