Chapter 1: Rising of the sun

Lestat sat quietly in a large red leather chair, his back faced an open fire it
was late and the darkness has licked the ground welcoming everyone into the
night. He wait patiently for Louis to come back from his hunt, it was always
after midnight that he would hunt.

Lestat started to hum to himself a tune he heard when he was a child it almost
broke his coldness away from his heart but only when he saw Louis face
everything changed he was new,

'Maybe I should go and get some more wine" he whispered to himself as he slowly
rose leaving a body shape in the leather seat and walked in a slow but well
mannered fashion he was very elegant for his time. It was 1869 and everything
stopped being drastic after the war between him and the elders, Marquis as
ashamed of what Lestat had become, he was too much for Marquis to handle, but
with Louis in lestat's arms seemed to make Lestat realize his own self as how
he was.

A soft nock at the door made Lestat jump a bit, he started to think maybe it
was Louis stumbling back into their home that they shared it was master and
fledging, the house had a 18th century look to it even though it was the 20th
century Lestat still wanted to keep the memories from France,

now in the united states of America where Louis told Lestat they could start
over and being a new life where no one knew who they were.

The house was flourished with candles and chandeliers old paintings of old
France and kings and queens, there were paintings of all of the houses Lestat
and Louis stayed in they had one picture of Claudia in the main bedroom where
Louis stayed; he loved the child and the girl loved him just the same.

Lestat walked with the wine in hand toward the big brown oak double doors with
one swift move he opened the door with ease; Louis stood tilted toward the door
his hand gripped the door frame with anger
