All of a sudden, when I tried to change from one band to another using 
the MixW software, the software would give me a Microsoft Reporting 
Window.  It didn't matter what I clicked on this Reporting Window, the 
MixW software would shut down.  I then remembered what I had been told 
when I first started using the MixW software. That I had to copy and 
paste the MixW2.ini which I have in a separate folder, on to the MixW 
main folder.  This worked.  I now have total CAT control of my radio 
from my computer again.  I hope, that by passing this on, that you will, 
if faced with the same dilemma in the future, remember this easy fix to 
your problem.
