Britney Spears Gets A New Mom Pick-Me-Up In The Form Of Flowers

Article Description:
====================

Several sources of entertainment news recently reported that pop
star Britney Spears recently received flowers from her male nanny
Perry Taylor (dubbed a "manny" by the press). Although
there's some speculation among gossip columnists about just
what that gift of flowers means, its certainly a possibility
that they're simply a gift of flowers between friends meant to
lift the spirits of a tired and stressed new mom.

Several sources of entertainment news recently reported that pop
star Britney Spears recently received flowers from her male nanny
Perry Taylor (dubbed a "manny" by the press). Although there's
some speculation among gossip columnists about just what that
gift of flowers means, its certainly a possibility that they're
simply a gift of flowers between friends meant to lift the
spirits of a tired and stressed new mom.

Flowers are one of the most widely given gifts for many
occasions, and are a well loved choice for aiding those who are
feeling overwhelmed, stressed out, and just a little down.
Perhaps that's because flowers make us happy and they make us
smile. In fact, a study conducted at Rutgers University, the
State University of Indiana, showed that those who received
flowers as opposed to other gifts were more likely to display
genuine smiles.

Although it seems Perry Taylor had no difficulty in choosing a
gift of flowers for Britney Spears, it's not always so easy for
other men. Men often feel confused about just which women in
their lives it is appropriate to give flowers to and what kind of
flowers they should give. The truth is, flowers are an excellent
choice for any woman-mother, sister, aunt, coworker, friend,
girlfriend, and spouse. And, women enjoy receiving mixed flowers
as much as they enjoy roses.

A study conducted by Bruskin/Golding Research for the Society of
American Florists (SAF) proved the appeal of flowers for women
with the following results:

 * 83% of women enjoy flowers from a significant other.
 * 34% like getting flowers from their sons.
 * 25% are happy to get flowers from a male friend.
 * 23% like it when Dad sends flowers.
 * 23% love flowers from a brother.
 * 62% of women are thrilled with a gift of mixed flowers.
 * 28% would rather receive roses.

While for many men its certainly good news to hear that women
really do like to receive flowers, other men may still feel
overwhelmed with the whole process. But, there's no need to feel
nervous about it. Your florist is an expert and is always there
with some good advice that is sure to help you choose the perfect
gift for any woman in your life. You'll simply need to give them
a call or stop in and explain who the flowers are for and what
the occasion is or if the flowers are a "just because" surprise.
You should also make sure that you have the address the flowers
are to be sent to on hand, a telephone number you can be reached
at, and your payment method.

If you're considering sending flowers to a woman in your life,
you can be certain she'll love them no matter what your
relationship may be. After all, if Britney Spears' manny can send
her flowers, why shouldn't you send some to your mom, coworker,
or friend?
