Using RSS, webmasters give visitors news from various sources without extensive searching, bypassing the original source. Most major media outlets including ABC News, CNN, eWeek, iTunes, Netflix, Rolling Stone, The New York Times, Time and The Washington Post, as well as smaller, niche websites and blogs, offer RSS or Atom-based feeds, both similar in nature. Webmasters can use an aggregator, an application that manages multiple RSS lists, to add an RSS feed to their website and present information within a single view. Content publishers can also make their articles, headlines, announcements, document listings, calendar items, events and other dynamic data available via RSS feed. So more people see your content. Webmasters may use their existing content management system to generate an RSS feed. They can also use self-scraping, feed integrations, third-party scraping or other means.
