Paris Hilton's Party Flowers

Paris Hilton is well known for her partying ways, so there's a
good chance she's decorated for more than one party with
beautiful flowers in a variety of themes. But, you don't have to
be Paris Hilton to use floral decorations to make your party a
blooming success-all it takes is a little know-how and a great
florist.

One of the most important steps you can take in planning your
party decorations is to involve your florist right from the
start. Decide on your party theme early and make out your guest
list so you'll know how many tables and place settings you'll
need. Talk openly about your budget and invite your florist to
visit the party site to help you make decisions about how flowers
can be best used in the space available and within your budget.

Inform your florist of the amount you'd like to spend on flowers
for your party. When your florist is aware of your budget, he or
she can make suggestions about the best use of your budget for
flowers that will have the biggest impact. He or she can also
suggest flowers that are in season and will therefore cost a bit
less. For example, if you're throwing a summer party, roses are
an excellent choice because they are abundant during the summer
season and are available at bargain prices. Your florist may also
have items like linens and other party necessities available for
rent so that you won't need to spend part of your budget to buy
these items.

Decorating with flowers needn't be taxing on your time, either.
You may want to decorate for the party the day before the actual
event so that you'll have plenty of time on the day of the party
to rest up and get yourself ready. While it's true that flowers
are at their freshest on the day of their delivery, it's quite
possible to keep them looking fresh and beautiful for days. If
you choose to set up your floral displays the day before the
party, be sure to provide all of the flowers with plenty of
water. Fill every container to the top with water. You should
also mist all of the flowers using a spray bottle set on fine
mist. After providing ample water, cover the flowers with a thin
layer of plastic, such as a dry cleaner bag. Be sure, also, to
ask your florist if any of the flowers need special attention.
Avoid setting any of the flowers in sunny or hot areas. If
you're throwing an outdoor party, it's probably best to hold
off on setting up your flowers until the day of the party.

Flowers can help make any party the talk of the town regardless
of the location, your budget, or the season. With the help of
your florist, you can make your parties events worthy of Paris
Hilton status.
