The Nature Of Blogging

Article Description:
====================

Many of us have adapted to blogging faster than we would even
attempt to spell it. Some see it as an opportunity to vent their
thoughts and feelings pertaining to their personal lives, while
others chose to use it as a creative way of expressing themselves
and sharing their views on a particular subject. However we may
choose to "blog", it is surely a lot of fun and quite
addictive.

Many of us have adapted to blogging faster than we would even
attempt to spell it. Some see it as an opportunity to vent their
thoughts and feelings pertaining to their personal lives, while
others chose to use it as a creative way of expressing themselves
and sharing their views on a particular subject. However we may
choose to "blog", it is surely a lot of fun and quite addictive.

>From what I have observed while surfing many peoples blogs, they
are in essence, entirely personal. People tend to show their
personalities through their blogs, writing anything from their
hopes, dreams, values, sexual preference, fears, experiences, and
daily feelings. People are known to literally cry through their
blogs; sometimes they may even signal cries for help that would
otherwise go unnoticed. There is a certain power in words that
people have discovered and are embracing like the security
blankets that they once held onto for dear life in their early
childhood. Words provide a chance for people to be heard and
through blogging, people can even enhance their voice with
pictures, drawings, and all sorts of graphics.

It can be thought to be the new social activity, providing
communication between people who share many of the same
interests. There is a sense of community between bloggers. Tools
are usually available through blogging services, which make it
easy for the average person to set up a basic blog. Most blogs
are free and some tend to focus on one particular theme such as
parenting, politics, sports, marketing, etc.; and can be easily
sought out by many who have similar interests and who are
interested in commenting and/or saving them to their lists of
favorites. Discovering new and interesting blogs can be
considered by many, an adventure in itelf.

The success of blogging doesn't really have much to do with
software or technology; instead, it all balls down to the fact
that it allows us to interact online the same way that we do
offline. We chat, discuss about everything from A-Z, and it
allows us to get to know people in a different way such as
reading their blog, leaving comments, and having blogs for them
to read. It allows our personalities to shine and be who we are
or choose to be.

It is amazing how the phone still seems alien to some of us
compared to email, which lacks emotion and can accidentally
provoke arguments. Letters have a long history of tying lovers
together, exchanging proclamations of heartfelt devotion and
still remain the key to strengthening weak ties. Blogs provide
what letters once did.

Through blogs, we can converse with friends and even strangers
who may one day turn into friends. Through them, we have access
to the varying emotions of the entire world. Those who have yet
to experienced the joys of blogging, need to hurry up and get in
on the fun.

Here is five reasons why everyone should blog on a regular basis:

1. Self expression...

Everyone needs an outlet to express themselves and their passions
that they want others to know about. Whether it be artistic
talents, hobbies, or other interests. There will always be
someone out there who share what you love. It also helps you to
reflect on yourself which will results in a broader
understanding.

2. Empowerment...

Owning a blog allows you to be in control of your own
world(space). Vent, let others know how you feel about certain
things. It provides you with a kind of freedom that anyone can
benefit from.

3. Idea Exchange...

Share your insight with others and allow others to inspire you to
greater heights. By posting comments on message boards and
transmitting ideas from your own mind, there is no telling where
one simple idea can take you.

4. Personal development...

Blogging can help us better ourselves and learn more about
yourself and those around you. It forces us to step outside of
the box in many aspects of our lives. It forces us to think more,
write more and enhances our form of expression.

5. Fun...

The bottom line is, blogging is fun! It is unique and an
inexpensive way to publish your written words to millions of
people. It serves as an outlet for creative thinking and self
expression. What are you waiting for? There are people all around
the world waiting to hear what you have to say. Don't keep them
waiting too long, it's impolite.

Surprisingly, writing a book is on the top ten list of many
people's life goals. The reason for this desire to write a book
entails that they have knowledge that they want to share with
others Not everyone can write a book, but everyone can write a
blog. Posting your thoughts online can indeed be a form of food
for the soul.
