Send flowers with a baseball theme! Everyone loves flowers and when you personalize them to include the recipient's favorite hobbies, like baseball, they're sure to make an even greater impression. Flowers are an extremely versatile gift and are great for both men and women. If you're hesitant about sending flowers to the man in your life, an initial gift that incorporates his love of baseball is an excellent way to test the waters for the first time. Surely flowers that include baseball-related items can't be seen as too feminine! Your florist will be happy to make a personalized gift that includes baseball items that you supply. He or she may even have some things on hand, such as mugs or specially shaped containers. However, your creative ideas are always welcome, or you could borrow a few of these: * Choose flowers in the colors of the recipient's favorite team. For example, if he's a Milwaukee Brewers fan, choose a bouquet of blue and gold flowers, such as daffodils and blue delphiniums. Or, if he's a Boston Red Sox fan, you could send red and white roses or an arrangement of red and white carnations. * Have your florist design an arrangement using his favorite flowers and tuck in some baseball cards, a ball, or a bobblehead figure of his favorite player. * Take in a mug or other container that features his favorite team and ask your florist to make an arrangement in the container. * Ask your florist to create a large arrangement using pennants and ribbons in the team's colors. * Surprise your baseball fan with tickets to a game tucked into a flower arrangement. Include a card or note that tells him he's a "home run" in your eyes. * Have your florist make a ballgame themed arrangement. You could bring in a large popcorn container to place the arrangement in. Supply some cracker jack and peanut labels to be used as accents. Stick a pennant or other item with the team's name or logo into the arrangement. There's really no limit to what your creativity can do in terms of a baseball-themed gift of flowers. Your florist is also an excellent source of ideas.
