Florists Are More Innovative Than Apple

The Apple corporation has been developing innovative
technological advances for over thirty years. They're
responsible for some of the first home computers and own the
rights to one of the hottest devices on the market today, the
iPod. Although it would seem hard to beat the creativity of the
Apple team, there's a group of professionals out there who flex
their creative muscles everyday-florists!

Florists spend each day designing and developing arrangements to
fit every personality, lifestyle, setting, and event you can
imagine. They create flower arrangements for life events ranging
from births to weddings to funerals and everything in between.
They're trained to combine flowers of every type and color with
accessories and containers to produce beautiful designs. They're
experts in color coordination, flower and plant care, and design
elements.

Though most florists are extremely professional and work hard to
ensure your satisfaction, not all florists are created equal.
Your ideal florist may not be the right florist for your neighbor
due to differences in personalities and needs. To ensure you're
working with the perfect florist for you, follow these tips:

 * Try to visit the store personally. This gives you a chance to
see how the business is run and the quality of its products.

 * Look for fresh flowers on display. If the flowers and plants
appear to be wilted or show signs of disease (spots, brown or
yellow leaves, etc.), look for another florist.

 * Work with florists who are professionally affiliated. Florists
who join professional affiliations are usually people who really
love their craft and are committed enough to take it to the next
level. Find out if your florist is connected to associations,
such as the Society of American Florists, and national wire
services, like FTD and Teleflora.

 * Talk to the florist. Determine if the florist is someone
you're comfortable with and who seems helpful and friendly.
Professional florists should be willing to spend time with you to
answer your questions and determine the best way to serve you.

Once you've determined that your basic floral needs will be met
by a particular florist, find out just how innovative their
designs are. Your florist should be able to provide you with
pictures of past designs created for the events of other
customers. Most florists keep records of flowers designed for
major events, such as weddings. Even if you're not planning a
wedding any time soon, viewing some of these pictures will give
you a good idea of just how creative the florist is. After all,
you never know just what occasion you may need to send flowers
for. When something a little off the wall comes up, you want to
make sure you're working with a florist of Apple's innovative
caliber so that your gift of flowers is as creative as the
occasion.
