"Amerika" was produced in 1987. Internet movie database entry http://us.imdb.com/Title?0092316 It was available at one time in a 10 hour 5 volume boxed set from Anchor Bay Entertainment. http://www.anchorbayentertainment.com/ The company is located in Troy, Michigan and is a division of North Coast Entertainment. It's no longer listed in Anchor Bay's catalog, but copies still exist. The best way to locate out-of-print movies is through Ebay, Yahoo, and Amazon auctions.  I just checked and Amazon zShops has a copy available for $30.00  If I had more money I'd think about purchasing it myself.
