Military Call-Up Depleting Police and Fire Department Manpower, Experience
Jan. 25 — The escalating call-up of part-time military personnel has many of the nation's police and fire chiefs worried.
"We're going to lose upwards of 75,000 firefighters over the course of the next several months with the reserve call-up," explained Randy Bruegman, president of the International Association of Fire Chiefs.
