'N.K. Jets Didn't Lock On to U.S. Plane:' Stars and Stripes
�� Seoul, March 7 (Yonhap) -- North Korean fighter jets did not lock their radars onto a U.S. reconnaissance plane Sunday, Stars and Stripes reported Friday.
�� "The North Korean MiG fighters carried heat-seeking missiles, which do not require radar targeting," the paper quoted an unnamed Defense Department official as saying. "U.S. reconnaissance videotapes taken during the incident revealed the missiles."
�� On Wednesday, Pentagon spokesman Lt. Cmdr. Jeff Davis said that one of the North Korean MiG fighters had locked on to the U.S. Air Force RC-135S reconnaissance plane with its fire-control radar
