and what to send the DistoX to Beat to check if everything is OK?

You are not only one who has such problems.

There is no any reason not to achieve calibration coefficient  bellow  
0,25.

BTW, the best way to callibrate DistoX is to find in a forest THREE  
trees 2 m each from the other representing "half of cube".
