Thanks guys, all understood and sorted. I've not come across this before. PDA Pocket Topo settings were different to pc settings. Also the folder in question is now tidied up. I had been messing around with a copy of a file, both that and original held in the same folder.

Yellow is other files, red the current one you are working on. I am guessing you have a different setting on your pda to you pc. To change hold down to bring up the menu, then option, (un)tick show all, as appropriate.
