The bottom line is, features that are adjacent to each other before the transformation, should remain so after the transformation.
With arrow heads there is no question that this should be so, regardless of whether there are coding gymnastics required, or whether the object or transformation is horizontal or vertical. With text string justification, it is not so clear, and ideally there should be a statement that controls whether text justification (left or right,) changes with flip transformations.
