Alright.. halfway through the show last night I had convinced myself not to post because I didn't have anything to write with and they wouldn't let us bring in taping stuff. So, my setlist and review is EXTREMELY pathetic and with tons of holes. But, I know that when I'm sitting at home while BAM is on the road, something is better than nothing. I'm just going to leave this one to Ben Kamen because I saw him at the show jotting down tunes. All that I can recall in my tired state of mind is Spice Groove, a rockin' STTN (this tune is evolving!), I think a Kick Samba and a Love & Tears encore. Late show. 11:45 start. VERY small crowd considering the last time I saw BAM in Chicago I could barely move (Double Door w/ JFJO). My last show was an opening set for Vida Blue in Detroit. It was so good to see a full show. Just tight, tight, tight and fun, fun, fun. I noticed Brad having some guitar troubles towards the end of the show. He strapped on the Sitar and I was hoping for a Cumulus.. but it didn't seem to work and he unplugged it and set it down. Darn. Maybe tonight. SO good to see old friend Eric Creighton who I had thought had fallen off the planet. He & his crew got a Matrix patch from Sam so I'll be getting this show and offering up a good B&P for all who put up with my sometimes pointless post-show posts. Looking forward to Madison.
