woah woah woah, you need to watch your mouth, man. Jim C. is one of the most generous and hard-working souls that the slip community (to say nothing of the larger live-music trading community) has ever seen. He has kept impeccable track of the slip's setlists on his site, as well as archived and spread more slip shows that any of us could ever hope to do. If he's been busy recently it is for good reason, and we should respect the fact that there are plenty of things more important than a few dollars in DATs and postage.
i am surprised that he has slacked on a couple b&ps, but one of out a thousand isn't bad; i know that there are some people here that have sent me blanks and never got anything back, but that is just what happens sometimes when trading music, and often it is simply a lack of organization (for me, that is. some people, of course, simply like to steal blank cds). I should say that this letter by Lucas was not strongly worded at all. It was polite and short, and didn't rant on and on. if it was anyone other than jim crichton (or jason or moshe, perhaps) I would keep my big mouth shut. But Jim has done WAY too much for us and we should all thank him. Thank you, Jim, we love ya'. peace, colin On Sunday, January 19, 2003, at 07:49 PM, Lucas Lorenz wrote:
i wouldn't hold your breath on this. i've been waiting almost 2 years on a b&p he agreed to do for me. polite reminders didn't work. sorry you apparently got burned by this guy too.
